Ever had a falling out with friends over business matters?

Have you every experienced a "falling out" with a close friend over issues like money or business decisions? I have this long-time friend who sells insurance for a living, who's suddenly giving me the cold shoulder and silent treatment for purchasing from another insurance provider. Fact is, I chose an affordable one within my means and which falls in top 12 industry ranking. The insurance company represented by my friend does not fall in the top 12. In the past, I've also lost touch with a friend who wanted to borrow a huge sum of money, whom I refused. I really think that real friendship should be able to transcend money and business matters. It's hard, I guess, if your business associate or partner also happens to be your friend. Once conflict arises, the friendship's bound to suffer. Ever had such experiences with your closest friends?
