I'm a 40-year-old aspie. I was on atheism.about.com asking if they knew about a website with a certain type of discussion. After many misunderstandings, it turns out what I need is special words, not a special place. I was given one phrase to begin my search. "I consider most of the Bible, including Genesis, to be metaphorical." I Googled that phrase. I couldn't find it exactly, but I found a similar phrase "I consider the Bible to be metaphorical", used by 6in12years. I traced 6in12years to this website, and I looked through the subject listing. I saw "student of life", and I realized this is the place to find more phrases like this, the place to have discussions using those phrases, and maybe even the place to find a friend who shares my philosophy.
