Beware of Facebook Apps

I have a friend who phishes Facebook accounts. He is not actually a real friend, he is just a friend on Facebook. He had posted screenshots of those accounts he had phished and it's more than 20 accounts and counting. I think, he got those accounts through autoliker sites where Facebook users (who want to have a hundred or even thousand subscribers, status likers, photo likers) have to allow an application and get a code or something for them to enter to the site. And when those users have entered, the phishers/hackers can get a way to open their accounts and even stole them.
I just want to warn others that autolikers are not safe. I have tried using them and I got to delete the apps and blocked those websites because it is too dangerous to be hacked or phished.

Thanks daudzaid1. Yeah, autolikers may give us likes, subscribers, comments but they are just temporary and they didn't like a status in your profile because they truly liked it. It is useless having many likes if the people didn't even know they liked your status.
One day, I saw my name on my news feed liking a photo of a stranger so I realized that I was "liking" photos of strangers without my knowledge just because I joined an autoliker site. So what I did, I deleted the apps, deleted on my browser's history and blocked the site. It really freaked me out.

Thanks for posting about this! Facebook has had a lot of privacy issues lately.

Because of the changes Facebook introduced like subscribers, payment on posts on Facebook pages, etc. people get a way to reach other people and show what they want to say in the easiest way they could. For example, a user wants to have hundreds of subscribers because he wants to be popular or let people know he is influential so he had to sign up or find out autolikers, autosubscribers to do the thing and in return, his/her account privacy is in danger not knowing that hackers could get through his account.

I have an account in facebook and have many friends. But recently I had to block some of them because of the filthy language and behaviour with me. I like to go to facebook application but examine them well. I think facebook is becoming a dangerous social site.
