So there seems to be many food which give a person gas, I'm not a person who has a problem with it most of the time. But I have heard after my operation in July I will probably experience some problems with severe gas pains and such for a while. I'm sot sure of this but what are some foods for me to eat in case it does? I don't want anything at all that is full of anything that will irritate my stomach and such w/ gas cause I already have an illness that can trigger symtoms of various stomach upsets, which has been in remission for a long time now.

Fruits are the ones which do not produce them. They are good for your health and do not have any side effects on you. Having food in improper timings can also be the reason of gas problem. So have your food regularly on an particular time.

I think some produce gas but rarely for me right now. I'm not sure what it will be like for me after the surgery as I have heard some pains are from built up gas, it's a long story but that is what I read about it anyways. Apples might be one thing to avoid for me as far as fruit. But I guess I'll have to take some chances and find out. Thanks for the friendship add, too and response.

Ask your doctor about it. Everyone is different. For example, bread might produce gas for someone but it doesn't for someone else.

Now days I seem to get gas from everything.
Vegetables give me gas especially.
