Is it me or those shoes Freida Pinto is wearing are too big for her. She's not the first celebrity that I saw wearing shoes bigger than their size I was just thinking how can they walk on those shoes and not trip or hurt their feet in doing so.
What do you think guys? For me this is totally uncomfortable and I wouldn't do this even if I so love a pair and can't buy a size perfect for me.

It seems you really didn't get the point here. These shoes are not only shoes. They serve other purposes as well. Most important of them is the self-defense purpose. You can surely kill a stalker with one of those. Another advantage is that you look way taller than what you really are. That draws attention. The third important point is that, you don't need to do go to the gym. Walking with those bricks fastened to your feet is exercise enough in itself. So you stay sleek and sexy through ages. You shed calorie, you stay young. Got it?
You have to understand here, that this is not only about wearing shoes. This is about pride. This is about your elevation through the socioeconomic ladder. They are not mere shoes. They symbolize the very essence of human civilization.
Hope I made myself clear this time.

Oh, and do you know that the temperature drops with altitude? These shoes help to keep a cool head by increasing your overall altitude. You should not ignore that.

some people prefers bigger shoes because it doesnt squeeze their toes and you know tight shoes can cause callus in the toes. My feet is size 10 but I prefer wearing size 12 shoes, I find it more comfortable because my toes can movie and it lessens my chance to get callus on my small toenails. I think some people like shoes where their toes cant movie, but to each of its own, people have preferences I guess.

I wear thick socks, so it still works for me, I love bigger shoes cos its extra space for my toes. I dont want callus in my toes.

Celebrities start a lot of trends and make a lot of fashion statements. I don;t see why anyone celebrity or not would want to wear shoes that were too big for them. There is style and there is comfort. A good mix of that makes the ideal shoe and a fashion statement that makes sense.

Neither will i. I'm used to wearing heels and they must be of perfect fit for me. No matter how much i like the design, color of that pair, i must get the perfect size. Safety is my utmost concern for i don't want to hurt myself in the process of looking good. Furthermore, it looks ridiculous to wear something one size bigger than our actual fit. It affects the way we walk, cause uneasiness and lastly, muscle ache at the end of the day. It's not worth it.

Some people just buy it...even though it is a bit bigger...just because they loves those shoes so much. Some people just buy it because they prefer to wear a bigger shoes, but unfortunately it is too big.
I think too big or too small is not nice also, we will get hurt with it. better we should try the shoes in the afternoon when we wants to buy it and just choose fit shoes...because it will be bigger when we often wear it later...

I feel smaller sized or bigger sized shoes are very comfortable for me. I wonder how can I walk with them. I used to select those those which are comfort to me. I mean that I goes for those shoes which are not too loose or not too tight for me.

i think most modals/celebrity wears shoes taht are not their size. i suppose because these shoes are sponsored by some company and therefore in order to get free clothing/dresses, they are unable or not allowed to choose the size.
for myself. of course i would want to get a pair of shoes taht fit me. if it is too small, then it'll be too painful to walk. if it's too loose, then i'll not be able to walk too cause the shoe will keep slipping out!

My sister just experienced this a couple of days ago where someone thought she was wearing heels that were too big for her because there was a fairly large gap between her heel and the shoe, just like the woman in the picture has. But according to my sister, they fit fine to her. She says that when she stands and walks, her feet slide forward in the shoe.
So it's possible that while it looks like it's much too large to fit the woman, it actually feels comfortable for her. Maybe her feet also slid forward.
