Okay.. I'm not a cat person but I love how they will go around your legs and purr like they love you to death. I did have a cat growing up but I'm more of a dog person so the cat and I only got along pretty well. I don't think most of the cat lovers out there would buy a very expensive scratching post of their loved pets. But I like to hear it from the cat owners or shall we say lovers. Will you buy a very expensive scartch post for your beloved cat?

Right now i care the mother cat only then i don't need to have a raw wood more. My Noo and 2 kittens are sent to my hometown and my mom cares them. When my life is stable, i will pick her up to live with me again.

Why not? When some pet lovers really love their pet so much to the extend of leaving their will to them. There are cases i came across whereby pets get better treatment from their owners compared to us human beings. One of my friend spent about $1000 a month just for her dog, for grooming, clothings and food. Yet she scrimp and save on her own shopping, her meals, just to afford everything for her beloved pet dog. SO what's a $375 scratch post, it means nothing.

I see no problem with spending that much on a scratching post if it fits within one's budget. However, pricier scratching posts should take less of a priority than premium food and good veterinary care.

I don't buy very expensive toys for my children, so there would be no way that I would be able to justify buying a very expensive piece of equipment for my cat. Now, that doesn't mean that I don't love my cats, because I do. However, I also know that our family has a budget and spending that kind of money on a cat toy is way more than I would ever be able to spend. If I had that kind of extra money, I would much rather be able to take my children on a weekend trip so we could all make memories together.

the one on the pic you posted doesnt look worth so much, what is it made from anyway to cost that much? we got our cat the 3 level one which is meter high and it cost us around $60, so whatever store is seeling this one for 300+ i'd say look elsewhere, its not worth that much, even me being a huge cat lover even the $60 one wasn't so cheap, but we bought it for their fun, cause they're lovely and deserve some fun right:)

It depends. If the expensive scratch post is extremely durable, has a scent that attracts cats, lifetime warranty, etc. I would definitely buy it. But if its just the average scratch post that you can buy for 50 dollars, then you shouldnt. Price tags are not an accurate evaluation of a product?s quality. Also look at reviews. I reccomend the purrfect scratch post.

That would be one spoiled cat omg! You can buy them for 25 and the cat will be just as happy. he won't know the difference! I know a friend though whose cat has more outfits than some humans do and it is ridiculous! But that is what she loves most in life is spoiling her cat so more power to her. I wouldn't spend that much money on a pet though

If the post is awesome enough and I have money enough, I would pay that much - but so far, I've managed to get out with a LOT less than that! AND I've still gotten some awesome scratching posts!

I got a little one when my cat was a kitten for $25. I also got a good tall cat-tree with cat scratching posts for $110. That's about as much money as I wanted to pay! I probably could have saved more money if I'd made one for myself. A scratching post is a must because kitties do like to get their claws into things, and it saves your furniture... but it doesn't have to cost a fortune to get one. I wouldn't buy a $375 scratching post. After all, the cat's just going to scratch it up!

buying a scratch post(or making one) is a must for all cat owners cos it saves furnitutes specially the leather sofa's from getting ruined. with a scratch post cats will have something to waste their energy to. Now I have flashbacks to the nightmarish event when my cat ruined an expensive salmon skin leather sofa I purchased..... scratching post will keep cats busy and not bored.

I love my pets a lot. Any way I am not going to spend more money towars the. Though they loving ones they need some basements. I am not much lavish for my pets. I think it is not much needed. A pet is completely unaware about the cost of the scratch, then what is the need?
