I always want to buy a laptop, but i don't have enough money to buy it. Now i have enough money to buy it, but i started to hesitate about it, beacuse i want to keep some spare cash, you know, in case i will need it. So now here is the question, if you were me, what will you do? To buy the laptop you always want or to keep the money and buy the laptop when you have extra money?

Hey, Seen you seem hesitate to buy something liked laptop.. I'm guessing this is all if not most of your savings. I would recommend you to keep savings.. I understand you want or maybe even need a laptop if you have one right now just deal with that for a little longer till.. You feel like this is enough or more then enough for emergency money for me to survive I case of anything.. Just remember if you do purchase a laptop.. Never live or have regrets because you will be looking at that thing for a long.. Time lol.. And will always say only if...
Hopefully I was able to help you make your mind :)

if the laptop would help you in your activities especially if you're still in school era, then you should buy your own. If you know that you can earn extra money for the succeeding days, then why doubt buying one. if you can wait with laptop with more high-end specs then wait for it. :)

In your situation I probably wouldn't buy the laptop straight away. I would wait a few months and save up some extra money. I would be afraid to spend all of my savings at once, and I think that it is a good idea to have some extra savings for emergencies. In case something happens and you need money for something unexpected you would be forced to borrow the money if you have spent all of your savings on a laptop, so I think it is best save up some extra money for emergencies before you buy the laptop. You don't have to save up a lot of extra money, but it is a good idea to have some extra money.
On the other hand it also depends on your situation. Do you really need the laptop right now? Do you need it for school or for work? Is the laptop on sale at moment? Would you be able to save some money if you buy it now? I think that you should take those things into consideration when you make your decision.

I am in very deep need of a phone right now, but I am a student, and I've applied for several jobs...I decided to wait until I find a job, or any income source to buy one, because I might need the money I have, and I have no job to recover the 400$ i'll spend for the phone.
Keep it, be patient.

It depends on how much you want the new laptop. If you still have a computer at home but you just want to upgrade a better computer, perhaps you can still hold it for a while. The digital stuff's price always keeps decreasing. Wait for a while and then you can still have a laptop and spare money. You just need some patience.

I will not buy the laptop for the meantime and wait until I have some extra to buy one.
You are right, we can never tell when emergency comes, so it is better to keep the money first and wait for sometime to have some extra.
Laptop can wait anyway and sooner you can buy it.

If you know you can still have more money to come, then you can go and buy your laptop. You saved for it so you can now reward yourself. But before you buy, make a search and review first of the laptop that you are going to purchase. The laptop that you are going to have must be worth buying for. Good luck and may you be happy with your decision. Take care!

i also had that dilemma before. I really wanted to have a laptop of my own and I was already tired of borrowing from my boyfriend who also uses it a lot. when I saved enough money my boyfriend urged me to buy one but then I was already hesitant. he inspired me because he told me that at least I can see where my money has gone to. I bought a laptop and has been happy and for the moment again saving money for another rainy day.

i would keep the money. its not because i would need the money. maybe because i would feel safe with some money in hand. a sense of security.
sometimes we will have to sacrifice our needs for materialistic things for greater good.
but my advice here is : follow your heart...

I know you save money because you want to have a laptop but my question is do you really need a laptop? If you need laptop and will become very useful to you then dont hesitate anymore, just go to the nearest store and buy it. But if the laptop can wait for your extra money then dont but it now and save the money for emergency purposes.

I always find myself in this situation! Everytime I have saved enough money, I don't want to spend it cause it's so hard to save it. If I were you, I would see if I seriously need a laptop ( for example : for college uses ), if so I would definitely buy it. But if I already have like a computer at home, even though it is crappy, I still wouldn't buy it until I have double (money) of what I have now...just to make myself happier XD
