My Nephew Is Sick

I feel pity to my 4 year old nephew, for he is been sick of G-6 speedy since he was born. His mother would spent his thrice a month in the hospital for admittance in the hospital. His sickness causes of eating sweets and too much monosodium glutamate in his food. And he is prohibited to eat colored foods. If he violate his rules of food he will be dehydrated with LBM - lost bowel movement and he would be vomiting for he cant digest the food he is taking. I pity for him everytime occassions celebrated for he cant eat anything just simple rice and fish soup. I dont know if there is a cure on this?

Jorshelle. I believe you meant G6PD... Glutamate-6-pyruvic deficiency. There are many donts on the diet.. he cant eat too much protein, he cant eat tofu. but it is actually manageable.

Sad to hear this, grandkid of a friend too has this problem she was treated but till not recovered .
