I'm not sure of the exact number for me, but I remember many days where I watched movies back to back to back, all day and night long. It kept me sane for a long time. So my question to you is how many movies have you watched back to back at one time? Have you ever pulled an all nighter? Have you ever stayed up for days on end watching them? and what are some of your favorite movies? What would you like to see a sequel to? What are some of the worst movies you have seen?

Hey there! I think the most movies I've actually watched back-to-back, one right after another was two. That's about all I could handle with sitting still for that long! I would probably get restless if I tried to watch any more than that! Of course, it depends on the movies themselves and how long they are. My husband and I do that frequently - watch two movies in a row - because once per month Redbox sends each of us coupon codes for a free one-night rental. (If you don't know what Redbox is, go to www.Redbox.com.) I love renting movies from there because it's only $1 per night, and most of the time we only keep the movie for one night. They also have frequent sales and lot of coupon codes in circulation. If you have a Redbox console near you, use the code "BREAKROOM" to get a free movie! You can use the code on as many rentals as you want as long as each new rental is made with a different credit / debit card. My husband and I must've used that code and gotten at last ten free movies from it! Just thought I'd throw that in there - lol! Anyway, my favorite genre of movies is romantic comedy! Having said that, here are some of my favorites that I've seen / loved recently... This Means War, What's Your Number?, Friends With Benefits, In Time (which is an exception to my typical genre, but I think Justin Timberlake should quit his singing career and become an actor instead!), and One for the Money. I might've pull an all nighter here and there to finish a movie or two, but then I eventually go to bed around 5 or 6 a.m. I would love to see a sequel to any of the movies I mentioned above. One of the worst movies I've ever seen...actually there are three - Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Napoleon Dynamite, and Kung Pou (sp?). If you haven't seen them, don't bother! What is your favorite movie of all time? What about your favorite genre?

I'm glad you get to enjoy Redbox too. Horror mixed with suspense makes a great movie! One of the best movies I've ever seen that falls into that genre was The Uninvited. There were so many crazy twists, and I love when I can't predict a movie! A movie that leaves me in suspense is definitely a good one!

Wasn't too impressed with that movie. I Haven't really seen a movie in a long time that I couldn't predict. I would love to see a movie that scared me, would give anything for it. Just doesn't happen any more.

Yes I also enjoy redbox, but since my cards strip is wore out I can't use it and I haven't gotten around to get a new card yet. I use to rent from them all the time. Two is not that much, but I guess you can only do what you can do. I like almost every genre, my favorite is horror.

I have seen movies all day and night. The last time I went from 10am til 2am. It was 8 films I believe, if I a remembering correctly. It was wonderful! It was a mixture of dramas and suspense and a musical. I used to see movies All summer long , all night long. But these days I own most of those films and I am watching t.v. shows! The best saga to see is The Godfather trilogy. It is great! Another I like is Star Trek 2,3, 4! The worst film I have ever seen was Ishtar. Now some films are so bad they are good but not this one!

It was suppose to be a comedy with some music in it. The Problem? The two leads Can't sing. I Mean they really can't sing! I can;t tell you anymore without giving away plot!

My hubby and I once and awhile get in the mood for a movie marathon! We will watch 4 or 5 in a row. I usually take cat naps by the 3rd one lol. The most I watched is 12 hours straight of the TV series Lost on Netflix. My eyes hurt and were dry but I was so interested in the show I had to keep watching

Hello dansazz There was a time in my life when I had trouble concentrataing on anything as I was under a lot of stress. I couldn't read (which is one of my favorite things to do) and I just didn't feel like doing anything. All I would do is watch movies. Our local video store had a plan where I could rent as many movies as I wanted within a 1-month period, for $35.00 a month. I lived about a mile from the video store. I was only allowed to rent 3 movies at a time, but I usually rented six movies a day from them and watched them. I would rent 3 movies in the morning, watch movies all day, then return them and rent 3 more movies for the evening/night. Although I didn't stay up all night, this is the biggest movie-watching time of my life. I watched 6 (sometimes more) movies a day, every day, for over four months. At the very least, that's nearly 700 movies. Needless to say, I got my money's worth from that rental place. In fact, the place ended up going out of business, and I wondered how many other people like me didn't have a life and just watched movies all day, every day. I can remember very few of the movies I watched. As I said, it was a bad time for me. But it may have gotten me through it.

Yes, This sounds like what I used to do during my youth. Back when they actually had video stores. Seems like in this day and age they are all going out of business. That is an impressive record. I remember once watching the lord of the ring trilogy in one setting.

It was a very bad time in my life. I really can't believe that's all I did, but it helped. The entire Lord of the Rings trilogy would be a long time of watching movies. I remember watching the entire Planet of the Apes (the shows) in one sitting, as well as the entire Star Wars franchise in a day. A very long day.

It was a long time, but it was fun. I'm glad it helped. It use to help me too. There is nothing wrong with it. It's fun entertainment. I'd like to make movies one day. One of these times I'm going to get a semi good camera, and shoot my own horror film. I can edit it myself, and add 3d effects also if needed.

Maximum 3 or 4..not very sure. I get so tired of it after 3 to 4 movies back to back. I make sure i always go for mix or match(horror/actions/adventure/comedy)...I'd not want to watch a sequel in a row.

One time when I was younger and freddy vs jason came to DVD, I watched every single nightmare on elm st in a row, then every friday the 13th in a row, and ended it with freddy vs jason. I took a short nap in between all this, a few hours, but it was mostly all the way through. It was awesome.

When I was still subscribed to the movie channels, I had ever watched several movies back to back but by the time I watched the fourth movie, I had a headache. I don't think I can watch too many movies at once. So I don't think I'm into movie marathons or clock in an all-nighter. I get tired pretty easily. Maybe just my age.

Hello! Sometimes I might watch 2-3 movies in a row, especially if we have a movie night with my friends. When I am alone, I prefer watching series epeisodes and this is when I become addicted and I can't stop watching them! I remember that I started watching Lost when it was already at Season 3 so I was trying to catch up with the plot and I stayed one whole weekend at home watching the old epeisodes! I think I was in front of my computer for around 10 hours and I was only drinking juice and water during the whole time! :P

I have done this as well, got hooked on heroes and watched the first two seasons in a row, only breaking for sleep and work, no bathroom breaks(just kidding).

I pulled an all nighter with The Good Wife a legal series. Three seasons, 39 episodes over a day and half the night. I couldn't sleep. Just stayed in bed the whole time.

You watched movies for many days back to back, and you think you were "sane"?? :) Yes, in my young days that sounds about like I would do myself. Mostly I would watch all sorts of different things on video, including movies and series and cartoons even. Nowadays it's weird but I get tired of a movie really quickly. Very few movies keep me interested all the way through. There really are only a few gems I like to watch all the way through. Do I still watch movies back to back? Nope, and I hope I never do. I feel it's a bit of a waste of time now. I do make movies now though, which interests me a lot more.

Don't see how it is a waste of time. You get good entertainment. If you have that short of an attention span how do you make movies? I still watch back to back now and then. Mostly watch Tv series episodes back to back now days.
