No Big Deal!!

Hi there, Do you aware of this phrase in the same title of this topic? Sometimes I use to use it in various situation like situation that not really connected to me. Sometimes I use it as expression but I don;t really know the real meaning of this phrase. Do you? Or do you use also this phrase... share to us....

To me it means that like say you do something for someone and they want to pay you back and you say no big deal, it means you dont expect them to pay you back. Either because they are close family or friends or you just dont think its necessary. Thats one way you could look at it.

But sometimes I heard the same phrase using in one situation like failed or bad result - saying no big deal.. are you heard same situation.. So my point is you can use it both situation depends how to use.. and accept both parties..

Hi visavis, For me no words 'no big deal' means it's not really important.If a friend says that he was supposed to tell me something yesterday, but that he forgot about it, I might say, don't worry, it's no big deal. Blessings.

I'm really appreciate your information and comments, however you it means "not really important" but if you can study in every situation everyone can say no big deal but deep inside it hurt...
