ummm there is a difference. wicca is a religion and not all wiccans are witchs. in that alot of them do not preform spells or rituals. i dont.
u could also belong to a different pagan subreligion and be a witch.

I have found the most people do separate them. I like reading debates about. I never get tired of hearing how people use and understand those two words.

I use both terms interchangably( is that spelled right?) I have found that some people are offended by Witch and some are offended by Wiccan.

No. Wicca is a religion. Witchcraft is a learned skill rather than a religion. It is often mistaken to be the same thing because some Wiccans call themselves witches because they practice the craft. Not all Wiccans are witches and not all witches are Wiccans.

I agree that some people seperate Wicca and Witch because some do not cast but follow Wiccan and Pagan ways. Just like Christianity, there are many different terms of Paganism, so find it easier to just say they follow Wicca because it is a more popular term.
Personally, you can call me a witch or you can call me a Pagan. I will not be offended with either term. I have come out of the broom closet and am proud to be a Wiccan! ha ha
Seriously, I have a bumper sticker on my car that says it all...and living in the Bible belt, I get so really interesting looks.
Get a taste of religion, lick a witch.
