Well I just wrote a discussion about the neighbors fighting and I thought the wife was being beaten up.
Well the guy apologized and said it wouldn't happen again (see the other discussion for details).
Well my mother gave us all kinds of food and said if we didn't have enough place for the frozen food or can goods to give it to somebody.
So there was some stuff we just couldn't fit in the freezer, I gave them some of that food, they were surprised. I also gave some food to the other neighbors as well.

Oh Winter, I am so far behind here on Mylot that if I responded to your other discussion, I honestly don't remember. I'll have to look it up. I am guessing that the wife was not being beaten up but that they were going through a very tough time? It's so nice of you to help out. I have helped people when I've been able to and sometimes even when I really probably can't. Somehow it always works out. That being said, I've misunderstood neighbors fighting before. One time that always comes to mind is many years ago, i lived in a small town and was recently separated from my very abusive husband. I had absolutely no tolerance for hearing abusive fights. Every night, I'd hear fighting and banging next door and I really thought my neighbor was getting abused by her husband. I gave her the # of a place that helped battered women. Come to find out...she was beating him!! Ironically, my daughter who was only 4 at the time and never could remember her son as we moved away from that place years ago...hooked up with her son and let me tell you..what a little jerk that kid is. I'll have to look back through your discussions and see if my story even relates to yours...probably not, heh?

more or less they were just screaming but there was a lot of banging and it got me worried but it all worked out in the end.

What you do is a good idea. I think it is a good way for the rich to help the poor. Every leader of developed countries should do this for helping the developing countries. I know, it is easy said than done. Maybe,is it an utopia?

I am not rich I am poor but I had too much so I shared it. I share whenever I can. Many wealthy people donate money for food banks here in our country.

That's great of you.
It's always good to share some blessing to others who needs it.
Give and more blessing will come abundantly so, you can always share it to everybody.

hi winterrose,
it's really nice that you give your neighbour's food. but do you usually give out food or it's only because there's not enough space in your fridge?
but i think as long as your neighbours' are happy with the food they received, it's good!

If I have too much I give I get the food because I need it. But I share when I can.

I remembered when I was a child, my mom told me that we should know to share our owns to our friends, neighbors and colleagues. She gave me some food and told me to share with the people lived near us. But now I grow up, I forget the words my mom told me. I become selfish, never think about others and haven't give food to neighbors any more.

Good for you. That is a nice thing to do. As for your discussion about the other neighbours being sad to see you move out, it made me think of my old neighbours that I mentioned there (the nice ones with the little girl who cried too much!). At Christmas time I took them some cookies and presents. They loved it!
As for them fighting, I'd have definitely called the cops. You never know when a fight is going to get dangerous.

you can judge people well especially me I am a therapist this is not a rowdy couple, so something was wrong but they were just having a quarrel.
did you have a passport before because my friend T said he did not have to go through all that to get his passport renewed. He didn't need a notary just two friends to sign.

I think it is nice to share. I believe that we all need to help our own little corners of the world in every way we can. I wish I still had my mom giving me food. SHe only got $444 a month disability and yet she ALWAYS had food in her freezer. She was amazing! She also did grocery shopping for 4 people in the 60's for $60 a month! Can you believe it?! And we ate good.

Youre so nice and sweet. Can you be my neighbor? My mom told us too that if you have too much food and cant eat all of it better to give to someone or neighbor to prevent from wasting food since lots of people are starving around the world.

It was nice of you to share food with your neighbors, winterose. I try to share food as much as possible rather than seeing it go to waste. When I have no one with whom to share it, I share it with the animals.

with so many people going hungry these days I just could not waste food.
It is funny my black cat wouldn't eat shrimp or crab, we got two cats now the black one passed away and these two won't eat that either though they like tuna. They are not even fuzzy on salmon.
