10 days away...would you believe i thought i saw him today?

like some of you know my grandpa has the same birthday as my soon to be 3 year old and their birthday is coming up in 10 days. well i have believed in ghost but not really ghost that let you see them as i have never experianced that. well today while driving home a song came on the radio and it reminded me of my grandpa and i was driving my grandmas car and i looked into the rear view mirror and i thought i saw him sitting in te back seat. the last time i was at my grandmas house it was late. it was about 12-1 in the morning and i thought i saw a shadow walk from his room to the kitchen but i figured my mind was playing tricks on me until i heard the doors on the pantry make a noise. now i did check and the dog was in my bed and i was the only 1 awake. i am not sure if it was just the house or if it was him coming to check up on us. i mean he use to get a "late night snack" and it was always around that time so i found it a little strange that it happened.
what do you think? do you think i saw him or my mind was playing tricks on me?
have you ever experianced anything like this?

I think it's your subsconscious showing you that you really like your grandpa, and he made you think about him because you have that connection between your child and your grandfather...
I don't know what you saw so I can't tell you if it's your mind or not...but you saw him and that what counts, I would be happy!

yes i lives with my grandpa and grandma since i was a few months old so i really care for him a lot. when my daughter was born i was missing his last b-day party but when i called i said "aha you have to share your b-day" and what he said has stuck with me since he never made it to the next 1 but he said to me "thats ok ive had it for s o many years i dont mind sharing it with her to".
i was really happy to see him because i miss him alot and sometimes when things get really tough with my grandma it makes me miss him that much more. she gets very lonely without him. this past sunday was fathers day and it would have been their 50th anniversary together.
i just hope to see him again :) it felt so good to see his face that close to me again instead of just in my dreams :)
