Ive been on and there is some incredible stuff for little or nothing but i know of nobody that uses the site, so i have no idea
Do people actually use dis? is it really legit? Is it like pullin a straw for the longest, i mean is it good quality or does it depend on the seller any tips on how to find a good seller, like what to look out for reliability wise ?
Thanks :)

Ebay's very straightforward. I've been buying through eBay for years, and selling for months. I've hardly ever had any problems, just one guy ripped me off last year. Rules for buying through eBay are common sense: make sure your maximum bid is what you're willing to pay (remembering to take shipping into account), read the descriptions carefully and check the seller's rating. You're very unlikely to have any problems.

There are people who are making alot of money using Ebay. You can sell your own stuffs or buy/bid other people stuff and sell them later. The trick is to know the lowest value that you can bid for a certain good and knowing the type of goods that are on high demand. There are available softwares that can help you to know the lowest possible selling price of certain stuffs/goods.

The software/program (Auction snipper) has been there for sometimes. It is an automatic Ebay program that places your bid some seconds before the bid ends. So that means that you are most likely to get the product with the lowest bid possible. You can use the program for a trial period then you pay a little fee depending on how much money the item that you are bidding cost.

I made my first purchase a few months ago from ebay and had to the same questions. You need to look at their seller rating, for one. You also need to make sure you pay attention to the description of the item, and do a lot of reviews online of the item if you haven't already. As for bidding, be comfortable with what you bid, don't go crazy over it. Trust me, it's easy to start doing that. I bought a table that retails at $100.00 for $67.03 and I love the tablet. The seller communicated with me openly and I got the tablet in good timing, in the condition it was listed in, and with everything included.
You can find some items at the "buy it now" price but again do your research. Seller ratigs, feedback on seller, everything. Always pay through paypal via your debit card if need be, it's safer.

I have been using Ebay for 12 years and I love it. There will always be a seller or two that is dishonest, but Ebay is strict about it. When starting out I only bought from people within my own country, I check feedback, and use only Paypal for payment.

Hi,
We have the same apprehension. I just ordered something from Ebay and I haven't received it yet, its been a week since my paypal account was stripped of its funds. I just hope the item is on its way, there is this shipping status on the tracking number that doesn't show anything at all.
The feedbacks does makes a good indicator of the reliability of the supplier, star rating and all. Scammers really abound on the net but Ebay seems to be free from it. I started my first purchase and I may make bigger purchases in the future if this goes on without a hitch. It is the shipping and waiting period that get on my nerves being used to going down to the nearest store to have the things I need.

Yes, ebay is completely legit. I've been using it for many years and not had any real problems. The best thing I can tell you is read everything thoroughly. Don't assume that because the title of the auction says something that the product is exactly that. Read the whole description, also read the terms, return policies are listed there. The phrase "as is" often means that an item either doesn't work or doesn't do everything it should, though sometimes it simply means that there's a scratch on the outside that has nothing to do with how well it works. Again, this stuff should be in the description. You can ask the seller a question if you aren't sure. If they don't respond, don't buy from them. You can see a seller's ranking and feedback, scroll through, but bear in mind that there are some BUYERS who don't read the auction and decide it's the sellers fault and leave bad feedback, so negative feedback should be taken with a grain of salt.
I generally don't buy stuff that doesn't have a photo, either. Most sellers are pretty good, to be honest.

It has been a while since I have bought on ebay, but I have never had any trouble. I always check the rating to see if the seller has a great record. Read the description carefully and look at other sites to see if you are really getting a great deal. I always do my homework before buying anything online.
