Hi guys, Do you have email penpals? I have several email penpals for the last two years, but it is a pity that till now only one penpal still send email to me. I don't know for which reasons that those email penpals disappear on the screen forever, do you have such experience?

On the past, I have this penpal, she is from Spain, and we exchange email quite often, but there was some misunderstanding between us, ever since, she didn't send email to me, and I also quit sending email to her. What a shame. Actually, where do you find those penpal though? Can you share?

I have had pen pals since I was young, because I used to go on holiday a lot and meet friends there who I would write to every couple of weeks. Now that there is email available and things like that, it means that we are able to keep in touch a lot easier when it might not have been possible in the past. But now it is easier than ever to keep in touch with people, and I think that it would be a shame not to do so. The people who I have met are lovely, and I hope that I am going to be able to carry on talking to them for a long time. Of course some of them stop replying along the way, but there are still many of them who do reply and who I am still close with after all of these years.

I used to have email pen pals, but now we do not contact each other because each of us is busy with our work. I think I will email and greet this friend of mine in the near future.

I have several email penpals. Some of them are from my own country and some of them are from abroad. I love to write emails and it is also very nice to receive emails from my friends and hear about that happened in their lives. One of my email penpals and I started exchanging emails 5 years ago and we still write eachother on a regular basis. Many other penpals come and go. After a while people get tired of writing or they simply get busy offline and forget about it. It is my experience that many online friendships are short lived and that is sad. One year ago I started exchanging emails with a woman about my age. I really enjoyed writing to her and receiving her emails, and we always exchanged really long emails. Suddenly she stopped writing and she doesn't reply to my messages. I don't think that she is angry at me or anything like that. I can see on Facebook account that she experiences some problems at the moment, and I think that she doesn't have the energy to write at the moment. I hope that will hear from her again one day, because she is one of my favourite penpals.

When I was very young, I used to have a penpal (snail mail) from Finland. We exchange letters for a few years until I got to university. A few years ago, with the advent of Facebook, I tried looking for her again. I found someone different but had the same name, and was from the same place. We too exchange a few emails for a few months, and then we just lost contact again.

I had email penpal too, but it was over a year ago, and she disappear on me somehow. I guess that she was mad at me, since I didn't tell her the truth about my identity. Anyway, I deserved. I thought that online I don't have to tell her everything true, but she took it seriously. Somehow she told me everything about herself and her boyfriend's relationship. Then, I just hide about everything of myself. At the end, she just took off, and I didn't see her again.

Yes, I've got quite a few email penpals where we got talking more by accident than anything. I really enjoy communicating with people from all over the world.

I've had quite a few penpals over the past few years, but currently only one seems to want to continue talking to me in e-mails. My other penpals communicate with me through MSN or Facebook from time to time, but I really prefer e-mails. It's always puzzling to lose penpals, especially at the most random of times when they simply vanish.. I've had this happen before, and it honestly upset me because I had no other way to reach them.
