hello mylotters! its been a while since i started a discussion here. i am so busy with my studies right now and my exam will be starting next week!!! ARGHHH!!! anyway, just drop by to share something with you guys. i usually study in a surrounding which is quite and peaceful because i cannot focus when there is music playing. i get distracted easily. but one of my friend has a different opinion. she said that everytime she studies, she must listen to some musics cause that makes her focus even more. how about you guys? do you prefer study with or without musics?

I love music but when it comes to studying I would prefer to be in a quiet place, because yes music actually distract me when I have to think, focus and concentrate, I will probably be singing or stumping my feet or the pen when the music is on,so I definitely prefer with out it. Maybe I will listen to it when I take a break to relax a little bit.

Well i make it a point to study in a peaceful and a serene environment. Yes if you are done with your studies or have completed the major portion of your studies, then u can listen to music for a while and then get back to studies.

It depends on what type of music you are playing. Obviously if you are listening to hip hop song and loud music, your mind will wander off as you will lose focus easily. However if you are listening to classical music,it can actually help you to study better. Ever heard of the mozart effect? Some may say its urban myth but to some extent it will be useful as the music will calm you down and those music can actually keep your mind and brain active. So no harm in trying out classical music while studying.
