For me Bible is important to grow your knowledge and wisdom, because Bible is powerful. Why? To teach how to save your soul and give the everlasting life in heaven.
All your Question in your life bible will answer you and teach you. Please read bible everyday, and the Lord guide you to understand.

While I do believe in a God, I think that what's interesting, from a personal point of view is I know good from bad. I'm not a lone in that. I think that for all the good religion gives us, it also creates a bad element in society because we as people can't handle it. If Jesus came back tomorrow, what would happen? I don't think we've changed that much. I admire your faith, but I think it's more important to know right from wrong and try to live a good life. There are so many religions and so many interpretations and I think there's an element of control. The bible is important to some people - but it didn't make me who I am and i know for a fact i'm a good person. Not perfect perhaps, but that's what makes me human as opposed to being divine.
