The Dragon Boat Festival, the 5th day of the 5th month in the Chinese lunar calendar, it's coming now. :)
The traditional food for the Dragon Boat Festival is Zong Zi. Zong zi is a glutinous rice ball, with a filling, wrapped in corn leaves. The fillings can be egg, fruits, candied date, meat.....
I guess tomorrow i can eat them, wow, i miss them so much. :)

I like the Dragon Boat Festival. And of course I like Zong Zi! There are many types of zong zi nowadays. But the most popular type in my city here is still those filled with fried blended peanut with sugar. Dragon boat race is held every year during the festival and joined by all races in Malaysia, not just the Chinese.

We are Malaysian Chinese. We are observing almost all major Chinese festivals. Chinese food is popular here. There is always a stall selling zong zi in most wet markets. Some famous zong zi makers they also have their own shop selling just zong zi.

HaHa, I like the dragon boat festival, and also I like eating Zong zi. Every year, my mother and I make some Zong zi by ourselves, and my mother always makes zong zi triangle and it doesn't look like zong zi. So she always looks at me when I make zong zi, I like the feeling, warm and happy.
