For most of us the hobby of gardening promotes immense pleasure and happiness. Plant growing as a leisurely activity offers a lot of joy and inner peace.Going around those plants and providing sufficient care and attention by way of watering, manuring etc add delight and also bring in physical strength. Nature in fact amply rewards one who follows it earnestly. It ushers in a fresh kind of appeal and solace in every person engaged in it. Plants, especially flowering plants usher in a joyful experience of delight and blessedness unparallelled. A garden in fact is the most enchanting spot in any household.

I've been growing plants for 60 years and never get over the way a plant responds to the gardener. There is no doubt that plants are alive and intelligent. My 8 yr old Grandaughter was sitting outside one summer morning watching the poppies open in the sunshine, when she realized that plants move. Some plants send runners out when they want to climb a fence or wall. And last but not least, plants know enough not to touch a charged electric wire on an electric fence.

Yes I agree with you. I can never live in a house without a garden. Eversince I was single, I've always maintained a garden so that now that I am married and have my own home I can never allow my surroundings to be bare. I've surrounded my home with fruit trees and flowering plants that really make my home fresh and cool enough to make my living really delightful.

I agree with you. I talk with my plants and coax them to bloom. I wait for the moment in Spring when the blossoms appear, one by one, each of them showing their own beauty.

That's amazing! Maybe one day I'll have a huge garden. I'm trying to learn as much as I can about gardening. I just enjoy watching Youtube videos about gardening.

I love flowers also. They make me happy and I enjoy looking at them. The birds come into my yard and sing, so its really relaxing.
