Why not have fun making money for things you do anyway? Mystery Shopping can be part of that. There is so much more you can do. Selling jewelry and more. Throw parties to show what you have and what your selling. Spread the word. Why limit what you do to writing? There are many ways to sell anything. Too many people think that the only way you can make money is by working 9-5. If you own a place where u cut hair, sell clothes, etc and you have a couple sites where you sell jewelry, etc, have some of what you sell available so people will buy from you, making you more money from what your choosing to do and add to your income. I have heard people say you can never have fun and enjoy what you do to make money. Those people are, more than likely, barely getting by while making their bosses richer. Why let others control what you think and how you make money. Whose life are you living, your life or theirs? Are they controlling you or are you doing what you want, what you love? Life is not always meant to be fun, but why worry about money when there is so much out there to do? There are sites that are free and sites you have to pay for. There are an equal number of scams to. Do not let anyone tell you that you will fail because YOU WILL NOT FAIL! They are projecting their fear of failure on to you so you will never succeed. Believe in yourself. Have fun and do not listen to anyone but yourself and those who stand by you and support you.

Hi desertrose16
Nice to meet you. What is mystery shopping as you see it? How much money have you actually made from this activity? What is an average day/month like in this? What I mean is do you spend 90% on line and once a month have people over? How much of your time period do you involve yourself with it? It is a sideline where you like doing not too often just when you feel like it or is it something that consumes your every waking moment? Do you see your future being a full time mystery shopper enthusiast or something that might bring you joy and spring board you into something else?
Please be honest with any answers you wish to provide, remembering that this discussion might be a benefit to others as well as yourself. Lets be positive and get something of value from our time in this discussion, shall we?
I’ll be back to check on this discussion to learn from it soon, thanks for creating it.

Being a mystery shopper can be different things. You can go to stores like Wal-mart, K-mart and other store, you can be a mystery shopper for restaurants like McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut and other restaurants. You file a report based on what your doing for the store your mystery shopping. You get what your buying for free and your getting paid for it, too. For big name stores, you can be doing things like making sure no steals, that certain items are in the right place. Right now, I am deciding what to do about my bone spur. If I did not have that, I would be a part time mystery shopper. If you get anything unsolicited in the mail or by email about being a mystery shopper and you did not request it. Delete it. It is a scam if one of the 2 jobs is western union or moneygram. The checks or money orders you get for this are printed on someone's home computer.

To be honest, i prefer surveys and tasks to mystery shopper. who know what they'll send me and what damage it might do to my body and mind if i use it? Corporates are ruthless and dont care much about people. they only care for profit. so mystery shopping is a no no for me. Im not that money crazy to toy with my health. I prefer to use my brains to make money online.

I love writing, and this means that it doesn't really feel like a job to me when I am writing an article and doing the research for it. I would love to be a mystery shopper, as I love shopping but don't always have the time or the money to do it on my own, so the fact that there is a chance that I could be paid for it is very appealing to me. I think that it is very important that you enjoy your work, as this means that you will get more done and it won't feel as much like a job as it would if you were counting down the hours before you could go home.
