Yes, I do have candles in my bathroom. I just like the scent on it. In my living room, I have 3 big candles with a zen scent. Zen scent relaxes me.

Bamboo candles - My bamboo candles.
These are my favorite candles. I really ordered these candles at the factory, and asked them to put a zen scent.. :D

Hi PageTurner! I actually love candles. I burn them because they have a relaxing effect and the scents are great. I am picky about my candles though because scent is huge. I guess I probably burn 2 candles a week. Small candles that come in a little jar.

Oh..as far as safety..we are usually always up with them when they burn..and very close. I am not afraid but I am not one to tempt the possible either.

Hello JenInTn Thanks for stopping by. I agree that scent is very important, as is safety. Better to be safe than sorry. Peace :)

I used to burn scented candles in my room because i like the scent of it, it clears my mind, relaxes my body, enabling me to sleep well. However the moment my parents know i'm burning candles in the room, they disapprove of my actions due to a small incident that happen more than a decade ago. Some tenants in the house were playing with candles and they ended up burning our floor tiles. Since then, my parents are afraid of that, even more if it burns down the entire house. I assure them it won't happen again since it's my house, so they left my alone. But their constant nagging only allowed me to place unlit candles instead of burning them.

Hello Sanitary I'm sorry to hear of that incident that your parents experienced with the tenants and their candles. I don't blame them for being wary. Perhaps you could burn candles inside those glass boxes? The scents of the candles are very nice and relaxing. Peace. :)
