I am a fit and healthy person that become vegetarian at 4 years old and later on in my life I became a vegan. Vegetables and fruits are healthy foods to eat. The government says it is healthy to eat five portions of vegetables and fruit a day. Vegetables have vitamins and minerals in them. Soya produce can give a vegetarian or a vegan protein and calcium. Nuts and seeds give vitamins and essential oils. To make sure I get all I need I have vitamin pills because I know most vegan diets don't get enough iron or vitamin B12.
Daily I take a vegetarian and vegan suitable vitamin pill, an omega pill, an iron pill and a vitamin B12 pill. I love to eat salad and have it almost every day. With a wholemeal bread is a healthy choice and delicious.

I think, they will just lack protein sources in their body. However, there are also plants sources of protein like beans. I think there is nothing wrong if they did not eat any meat at all.

Well, I am on a totally vegetarian diet. In this diet also, we get ample amount of proteins, vitamins and carbohydrates for our body to be fit and healthy. I do not think that missing on meat or chicken or other non-vegetarian stuff causes one to loose much.
It is more essential to eat nutritious food, avoid extremely salty, or extremely sweet food, as well as too much oily food.

It those vegetarians are still alive up to know then I believe they are okay and they are not really missing anything even if they eat just veggies. In fact vegetables are the most nutritious food ever and personally I believe the vegetarian are healthier than meat eaters.
