We all know that jogging, longboarding, skating and whatnot are good things to do to make us all stay healthy. Jogging or running, for example, is better done in a shady area like in parks or jungle edges. When jogging under the trees, you will benefit not only better health but your stress levels can be reduced to 50%! I think it is true as I jog almost every moring in the shady areas. Hashing is one of the examples that will provide both benefits.
What is your take my friends?

Hello yanzalong
I like to do the activities in the shade, too. I like to walk in the shade and I like to wash the vehicles in the shade. I do not like to swim in the shade, though. And in the cold weathers, I prefer the sunlight to the shade. But in the hot weathers the shade is the best for me.
I like to set up the nice space in the shade for the reading outside. That is nice, too.

You are right my friend. I sometimes read out side under tree. I feel that it's easier to grasp what we read. So,it is true that shades give a lot of benefits in terms of reducing stress and gaining better mind.

Yes, I think it is true. It is difficult to do some things in the blinding light and intense heat of the sun.

You will be fine if you do it in the morning although there is no shade.

I definitely seek shady places to do outdoor activity, or wait for it to get shady, or wear long sleeves and a hat for protection from the sun. That sun up there is not the same sun that our parents and grandparents had. If you need evidence of that, just look at how it bleaches furniture or seats and things in a car. They did an experiment around here where they put a dogs crate in the sun, with no dog in it of course. In 30 minutes, the floor of that crate rose to 150 degrees F on a 90 degree F day. I don't know too many people that would want to walk barefoot on a 150 degree surface.

what would happen if this planet did not rotate in itself. Those facing the sun would be burnt and those behind it would be frozen. Am I right?

Shady places offered by nature protect us from the scorching heat of the sun and offer us peaceful resting shelters. It is beyond doubt that exercising under the shades of a large tree is healthy and good. But where have our shady retreats gone? There sre concrete jungles everywhere. Men have indiscriminately felled trees which offered cool shades to satisfy their needs for building palatial mansions. It is now for us to go in search of shady places for a cool retreat.

Physical activities like physiotherapic exercises, stretching, back exercises, as well as walking fast, jogging help the body muscles a lot. I feel the difference when I do any of these and when I do not do these at all. It is very important to do at least one of these activties. Unfortunately, I have not been able to set a routine for these exercises.
I need to set a routine for these as maintaining health is very vital. And jogging under trees- I truly love doing that.

In big cities it is hard to find shady areas. If you live in London you are still lucky as it still has a hyde park with shady trees. I used to jog there almost every morning in winter.

Yes, nearly everyday. I love jogging in the morning, especially before the sun rises. That time is a lot better for the simple reason that the air is still fresh and less polluted as there are still a few motor vehicles around.

My reason for jogging in shady areas under those trees are mainly due to fresh air, especially in the morning. As plants and trees goes through photosynthesis, the process they take in carbon dioxide, give out oxygen, that's the time one gets pure oxygen which makes my run even enjoyable. What's more, it's cooling under the shady area, and the morning run keeps me fresh throughout the day since it has warmed up my body and metabolism is moving.

That's right. Do you jog alone or with a couple of friends? Did you ever try to join Singapore Hash? It's a social group that meet once a week. They usually jog or run at the forest edge. I have a couple of groups like this in my city.

It is great to exercise outside, as the oxygen and the sunshine really do give you a boost to help you to complete the things that you need to do. However, you're quite right when you say that exercising in the shade is a great thing, because it means that you can stay nice and cool for longer without sweating too much, and this makes you a little more comfortable particularly when the weather is not. I always try to jog early in morning before the sun comes up completely, as it means that a lot of the road is in shade, whereas it can be horrible if I leave it for a couple of hours.

I also do that at 5:30 am when the sun is not up yet. It's much greater actually. The air is still a lot fresher and not yet polluted, right?

Good sunlight should not be more than 10 am in the morning. After 10 am to 4 pm, I think we need to cover our skin.
