What is your vote and opinion.
Do you think Comedy King Dolphy deserves "national artist" title?
I'watched TV earlier I agree with the comments of some TV personalities regarding this issue: He said that Comedy king is known as one of the genius in comedy cinema, he made millions of people laugh, and now those millions of people cries for him and prays for him.

Well I guess NCCA has said that nomination is there but they are scheduled to be given on 2013 yet. Well I do agree that he should have been given a long time ago, I just do not know why he was always bypassed for some reasons and Carlo J Caparas even got it a long time ago.

He deserves it. He has been a icon and a pillar of the entertainment industry. It is just that some people think that being an actor is not praiseworthy or doesn’t deserve to receive recognition. But that is for some people. Even some artists might resent that. But it think the body of Dolphy’s work speaks for itself. And Dolphy is irreplaceable in the industry.
