Just joined MyLot

Hello, I just joined myLot a few minutes ago and this is my first discussion. I am not sure how this will all go but maybe it will become a hobby of mine and in that case it will be fun. Well lets see if I can tell you all a bit about myself and what you might expect from visiting my profile or reading my discussions. I am a 26 year old female from the United States. I live in California but let me tell you, that does not in any means dictate that I have an interesting life. I do not live near a beach. I do not have constant sunny days and I have never seen, nor met, any one from Hollywood. In fact, I live in a very small town up in Northern California which is quite boring and has almost no population at all. I might as well be saying that I live in the middle of nowhere. So I suppose, California, is not really where I live. Nothing that I can think about this place that I live actually says "California" about it except the high cost of living and a pinpoint on a map. Anyway, that said, it means I have a lot of time on my hands and hopefully a lot to talk about if I am lucky. I am also a Christian. Now lets see, there's a lot of things someone can think about when I mention that word. Well I invite you to throw away all of them and not attach it to me until you've read some of what I think about it myself. I do plan to share some things like that. I don't exactly know what, at the moment, but, something for sure. I love metal music. Yes that is possible with me being a Christian! In fact, I have been listening to only Christian metal for around 7 months now. I love the bands I have found and maybe I can share them on here also. I'm not sure what the possibilities will be. I earn online. Right now I only have a select few earning sites and not really looking for new one's for one reason: internet bandwidth issue. I can not be doing much more than I am now because it will most likely cause my bandwidth to sky rocket and my internet to be shut off all together. That, is not something I want. I just started back with these types of sites two days ago, I'll have to let you know how I do eventually. That is about all for now in a nutshell. I hope you enjoy reading and talking with me here.

Welcome to myLot! I used to live in Southern California, and I went to school in a very small town called Ojai. It may have changed by now, but when I was there in early 80s not many people would know about it. The school itself was way up in the hills about 5 miles away from downtown; I had to live in its dormitory and felt isolated at times. It's nice to meet you, and I do enjoy your first post. I look forward to read more of your posts.

It's a nice place, actually... When I was there, 'downtown' was only one main street where a post office, a hotel, and small shops were. But the town is only half an hour away from Santa Barbara.

Oh, its nice to hear that there are somewhat isolated places in So. CA too (or were). It sounds like a nice place though. I'm sure you can not find something like that too often these days. Thank you for sharing.

Oh okay so it had a nice convenience of a bigger town to go not far away without the crowds, people and all that come with it. I would not mind if my small town were closer to something bigger like that but alas, everything around it is just as small as this town is. Except for 50 or plus miles away, which is not at all convenient.

Welcome to myLot!! I wish you could make so many discussions that are noteworthy to reply with. You just be very patient because the points you make are your earnings made, which is very slow yet very efficient, when you are an eager creator of so many discussions and also at the same time tries to answer the discussions made by other members here. I am very please to share my thoughts with you.

Hello, thank you for your support and also your advice. Patience is key, I see. Well as I mentioned I will be hoping to create this as a hobby. Maybe it will help in my endeavors here for my slow but efficient earnings, as you put it. Take care!

When I was a neophyte here before,I am very aggressive to write so many discussions yet due to the slow earnings I was quite disappointed before yet now I have learn how to be patient with all what I do here in myLot.Prepare what you like to discuss by making so many search before posting here because when your opinion stir controversy it has many followers to answer your discussion.I hope you can do much more better than me.

Well I have done my research before joining myLot. I do not think I'll be disappointed because I have talked with some members before. They gave me some advice on some things such as answering all the posts in the discussions like I am trying to do on here. It is slow still but that is okay, I can be patient I think. If I can keep that view then I will do well here. Otherwise I can become frustrated and I will eventually give up.

I will be trying. Thanks for the friend request, just approved it. Looks like you have been here awhile and have some good discussions yourself and a high 'star' number! I'm not sure what those are but I am assuming the higher it is then the higher your quality is rated.

Yes I can see how that can happen! You start to think of all the possibilities in discussions on myLot even as you're trying to sleep. Well I hope I will not lose sleep cause of all of my crazy thoughts just about myLot. At least I will keep coming back with so many thoughts though.

hey welcome to my lot, i think you will love my lot, because it was eassy than triond, what you need is just comment and posting a discussion, that essy right, but at first it still hard, because you need 10$ to cash out, but i think you can, oh and if you have picture or art work, you can publish it too to increase your earning ,and you can edit yor prfofil, eve you can use search engine in my lot to in crease your eraning, an d for easyier to increase your earning you can refer your friends, sadly enough you were not my refering friends, because if you may refer friends i must have a huge profit, by the way good luck and have fun in my lot.

I enjoy both this and Triond for different reasons. Even though the cash out here is high it is okay because it will be an every day thing that I can do a little bit of any time that I feel bored and want to be interactive.

Welcome to MyLot. I've just joined too, been here a week and it's a pretty nice community. I've found it quite enjoyable to be here and reply to peoples discussions. Judging from what you have already written I think you will fit right in and post some great discussions :) My advice is although it's a site that does reward us for posting just enjoy it and don't think too much about the money, that's just a bonus when we do get paid. But the more you are active and posting with relevant and thoughtful comments the more reward you will get :)

I must have gotten some really great advice with how well I am doing so far though. I did not at all expect to do as well as I am... not to brag or anything. I am probably just overly surprised is all!

Yep you're absolutely right. Even though we get paid it is just a bonus for me also. So long as I can keep that same attitude I am sure I will do much better instead of trying to rush my earnings, that just probably will not work and make me frustrated instead.

Well you are definitely off to a great start with such a wonderful first discussion. I hope you've also read the mylot guidelines as that is crucial to staying here. We need more people who love to contribute with quality as well, and you seem to have that down pat. I've been on this site for five years or a little more and my life is pretty much broadcasted through all of my posts. So if you want to know more about me just check there. Welcome to the Mylot Community, enjoy your stay. Let me warn you, the Religious categories as well as the Political categories are not friendly territory, things get rough and tense in them.

Wow, five years is a long time! I can see that in your post count though, congratulations and keep up the good work. Well if I am going to post as much as I think from all i have heard here and prior to joining I had better get used to posting something worth people's time, otherwise, how am I supposed to discuss with them? Well I thank you for the warnings. Perhaps I will avoid them for the most part. I don't want to be flamed for my beliefs, just wouldn't mind sharing them. One thing I won't be posting about though is politics, for a few reasons... one is the main reason that I don't know anything about them! Thanks for the visit to my first discussion!

Well I do not have my own children but I do have five nieces and two nephews. The nephews I can't see often but I see the nieces (four of them that is from my sister) every weekend practically so that is nice. Stop by any time.
