why only women and not men are expected to sacrifice their job for kids?

No I do not understand that either but I guess that is the only thing that will never be explained lol

I think it's a couple of things. 1. In many cases, the man brings home the most pay. 2. The woman has to take off from work anyway to have the child. And, then of course you always have the underlying cultural belief that women are better at taking care of children, which I don't believe is true.

i think its the tradition that we all follow..

Most children are closer to the mother than the father but think it's up to the parents to chose.
