I Feel A Little Better About Them...

So I wrote a discussion here a little while back telling everyone I wish I could get my teeth fixed... But I don't have that kind of money.
Well, I was looking online for some cheaper ways to make my teeth look a little bit better. I found the Imako Teeth and I thought to myself anything is better than what I have now so I will try them.
They came in the mail yesterday, my husband and I got them to finally fit me right and I do feel better. I am not really used to seeing me with teeth but I know with time I will get used to them. And I definitely have to practice talking with them in, I sound kinda funny right now.
Have you ever purchased anything like this? Did you have a good experience with what you ordered?

Hello LovingMyBabies
I'm glad that you found something that makes you feel better.
I saw on another comment that you mentioned the dental school in your area, but you suspected that they didn't offer much in their services. I have used dental schools for a variety of extensive work at incredible prices. Furthermore, the students who worked on my teeth were all graduated, practicing dentists who simply were improving their skills in other areas, and were all supervised by experts in the different dental fields. You may want to investigate the options available in this venue.
Again, glad to see that you're feeling better about yourself. You look great.
Peace.

Thank you.
Maybe where you are they do more work on patients but I called and asked what work they do there and they are the ones that told me all they do is cleaning and x-rays. I asked them also if there were any reduced priced clinics here and they said the only one that is here you still have to pay up front their just a little cheaper than the other ones... That doesn't help me. I need to be on a payment plan because I would only be able to afford like $25 per week.
Thanks so much.

I read over the discussion between you and gifts, loving..I think that is great and your smile looks wonderful. I know what it is like to have no money and in need of dental work and though these make your smile beautiful, I urge you to try to have check ups for any problems that might escalate in the future.
I am fortunate, I found a dentist who takes payments and regardless of the payment, I make a payment once a month. I owe a lot, since I had root canals and crowns, but as long as I make a payment, they are working with me. I even made a 5.00 payment one time and that was fine with them, as long as I made a payment. Now I am able to pay 20.00-50.00, depending on how much work I get, so I am hoping that soon I can pay them off.
If you can find a dentist who takes payments, maybe you can go that route, because trust me, an 80.00 filling is much cheaper than the 1,000-2,000 for a root canal and crown, or even the 100 extraction.

Thank you carmel. =) I feel better about myself with them in.
I have searched and searched this town over again and they have nothing like that here where I can make small payments. I cannot afford the dentist here, it is impossible.
The only place here that does reduced or free work is a school where they haven't graduated yet and they are only allowed to do minor things like cleanings or x-rays probably so they will not get sued if they mess something up.
Other than that place there is nothing like that here. =( If there was I would have been there years ago...

Yes, I remember I took my kids one time to a college and all they can do is cleanings and x-rays. Have you looked elsewhere in the area? Because the dentist I found, he is about 35-40 miles away, so I do have to travel to see him, but it's worth it.

I have never heard of anything like that before! Luckily I have dental insurnace! I get my teeth cleaned twice a year. My insurnace pays for most of my feelings, when I need one and crowns. I have 6 of those right now. I am sure I will need at least one more,in the near future!

Yeah I am so glad I found them because without insurance I cannot afford the dentist. I wish I could... But I am happy with these for now. =)

I am very glad that you have solved your problem in spite of your lack of money. Most dental procedures are way too expensive for most of the people. In my country they are not part of the health insurance so that if you don´t have the money there´s nothing to do. Your post will help many people that did not know this existed. Thanks and take care.

That is the most important thing, I am hoping to help others by making them aware of them. =) I feel better helping others.
And I feel better about my teeth now too.

Yeah! I ordered an item in amazon and waited 3-4weeks because I'm an international buyer, Philippines. Anyway, my experience is awesome because what I did expect was right. :)

Their fake teeth but you don't need a dentist for them. They stay in with wax basically. There a much cheaper, easier, painless way of having nicer teeth. =)

Wow that's great you were able to get something like that by mail, I have a close friend that had some dental issues and she went to the dentist to get new teeth fitted but I didn't realize you could get teeth that fit well in the mail
That said thankfully I haven't had to think about getting work done on my teeth yet, I still have all my original adult teeth, and I have never been to the dentist or had tooth pain, but I've been told that my teeth still look good I brush twice a day and use breath freshening restorative mouth rinse but I know that someday I'll have to get some dental work done but I pray that I won't have to worry about it for a while longer.
Congrats girl it's nice to read that you found a solution to your dental issue that makes you happy.

Yeah it was a great experience. I am so glad I don't believe what everyone else says all the time so I didn't miss out on these!
Your so lucky to have good teeth. My teeth are so bad, my whole family has horrible teeth! Every adult in my family has teeth problems. My mother has what the dentist called chalk teeth, they broke so easily. By the time she was 18 all of her teeth fell out little by little. =(
Thank you, I am happy with them. =)

Well, I looked at the website. They look very interesting. They are just for cosmetic purposes really. They recommend not eating with them. But if you're going out somewhere it is real good to not feel embarrassed. Also they recommend not to smoke with them as they will stain very easy. But for the price, they are good to go to parties or clubbing or something like that.
