Germany vs Greece

I think Germany would be too strong for Greece. I thought the Greeks have fought really well so far in this tournament. But this will be one step too far for them. So I pick Germany to win this match 2-0. Cheers! Ram

I think that Germany is one of the best teams in this Eurocup, but they need to have attention against Greece. The Greeks have not given up yet, and if German players start to play a too pragmatic game, they can lose. I don't believe that Greece will win this match, but I don't think it will be an easy game as everyone is thinking. Happy mylotting.

I was hoping against hope that Greece would beat Germany but - sadly - it wasn't to be. I do wish commentators would stop going on about the German team as though they're world-beaters though as they haven't played England - yet!

Well, although I have not followed the match, when you say it's already been played and has seen the victory of Germany 4-2, against Greece. With this victory, Germany presents itself as one of the favorites to win the European title, his next opponent in the semifinals will be the winner between Italy and England. I have not seen the game, but with 6 goals, it must have been very exciting!

I think that Greece stand no chance against Germany. The German team playes extraordinary by now, and I think they will humiliate the Greeks. They have great players and they are a great team, maybe quite the best from this tournament. I think that they could only lose to some other football legend.

Germany is favorite to win this match almost by 1000 to 1. But I hope to see a miracle. I would like to see the country of 300 Spartans fight and win over the German Panzers. It will not be a pretty match. Blood and tears, yes.

My money will be on Germany to win this match. They are to strong for Greece. There's a few of them are this year Champions League finalist so i think they would want to use Euro 2012 as a place for them to release their frustration on losing to Chelsea. In they are very strong in every department, Gomez as striker, Podolski,Bastian Schweinsteiger, Ozil and Khadeira providing the ammo. On the flanks they have the fullbacks, P. Lahm and Boateng. In goal they have the reliable M. Neuer. The centrebacks would probably be suspect sometimes but i would say they have enough class to thwart the Greece forwards. Greece should not be look down on though. In 2004 they won the tourmanent unexpectedly so i would expect them to give the Germans some tough resilience. The Greeks based their game on being defensive and attack on the counter. Their team work is phenomenal. Individually they may not match the Germans but it is their teamwork and workrate which makes them an opponent to be respected. Plus the Greeks has one motivation to succeed in this tournament. They want to provide the nation something to smile about despite the financial crisis hitting their country.
