Is there any software that auto refreshes links and resumes downloads...in many download managers,if download gets interrupted then, the link expires, and it can't prolong download...it shows "connecting".(happens in the case of cloud storage sites.
DAP is no good.
I heard winWget has this option,...tried but it also didn't load the broken download, instead it started a new one.

From what i understand, the ability to resume interrupted download is sets by the server, not the client software, so if the server don't allow resume download, then there's no software that will resume a broken download, but if the server allowed to resume a broken download, then many download manager can resume the broken download.

Hello, you are right! But I have tried IDM, it has an option to resume download by waiting until, you give a refreshed link manually;I didn't see this feature in any other download manager. Try it!!

Hi
I was using DAP download manager before.. but I guess its same for all download manager that they can't resume all downloads from where they got stopped.. Currently I am using Opera browser and it is good to download stuff from it. I am using opera for mostly my downloads. It can resume most of the file, but still I will say that they can't resume all files.

Hello akp100,I think you should try IDM.It can really resume broken downloads.DAP is more bark than bite, its of no use.IDM is downloads faster than DAP,trust me I have used them both.

I have tried it,you are right,it does have an option to resume downloads,it can be done manually by adding refreshed link to its download list,it automatically detects & loads the initial file and continues its download, this feature is missing in many other download managers.
But I don't think its faster than all managers,it seems because it has more decimal places.:)
thank you.
