Yes, I have not seen The Help, and from what I read, I am glad. But other movies, TV shows etc, all make me want to eat those things. For example, Joey from Friends always had to keep on eating something, be it pizza, sandwiches, crisps or anything. There were always having coffee and cakes at Central Perk.
Made me hungry every time I watched friends. Specially some specific episodes. There was one with lots of cheesecakes. Then there was another with about 50 lasagnas. You get my point.

It was just the idea of human parts in a chocolate pie that put me off, but if you insist, I may try to find the movie and watch it. I don't know if I can stomach it, though.

Hello kkaria309
I hope that my response about the pie has not influenced you to decide not to see, The Help. It is a wonderful movie!! If you see the movie, you will understand the meaning of the pie and how it was made.
The Help is one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time. I encourage you to see it.

Anytime I see someone on TV or in a movie eating Lobster I get jealous and hungry for lobster lol. The closest restaurant to get "good" lobster for me is 3 hours away. So I drool over it all the time when I see someone else eating it

Hi youless, I have great interest in the delicious desserts shown when watching movies related to story about food. I did watch two tv movies about preparing desserts. They were really impressed! One was from Korean and the other was a Hongkong movie. I could see so many delicious breads as well as buns and cakes, etc in the first movie. Wow, they looked both yummy and attractive in savor and design respectively! The latter was about the making of one of their popular Cantonese style biscuits. There are still many interesting movies about foods nowadays. When seeing them I have the impulsion to taste them then
I like all kinds of pies no matter they are sweetie or salty in taste. Here we have quite a number of delicious pies and puffs which are spicy. Sardine and chicken curry pies as well as puffs are my most favorite items to serve as 4 o'clock tea I hope I could come across movie about the making of all sorts of delicious and spicy pies and puffs. I emphasize strongly that chocolate is yet one of my favorite desserts.
Happy posting

Really happy to see my myLot best response notification restored as usual again. It didn't work for quite a long time. It's rather late to know I had received any when I checked the best response page once in a while.
Thanks for recommending youless Certainly I would like to visit Julie & Julia if I have considerable free time. I enjoy eating delicious food as well as watching how these yummy dishes prepared. That's why I like to explore to places and hunt for different kinds of local delicious food during my vacation
Thanks for the BR

It's really nauseating to know that the chocolate pies are prepared from the Human feces. I haven't watched the mentioned movie. I learn this from Pageturner Luckily the rest of them in the movies are attractive in decoration and delicious, I hope the disgusting one doesn't affect my appetite when chocolate pies are served in the future

Perhaps it was an error in translation, Hatley. These mistakes happen.

Please, youless, I hope that you are not serious! The chocolate pie in The Help, was made with the human feces as one of its ingredients. I love chocolate pie, but when I saw this movie I did not want any of the chocolate pie!!

Yes, friend, I knew you meant the normal chocolate pie. Please forgive me if I gave the impression of any other meaning for you.
Sometimes when I watch the movie and I see the cotton candy or the funnel cake, I wish that I could have these things.
Peace!
I love the world!!

I like food, so if it is possible I will try to make the food in the movie by myself. But in most time, it will not be succeed for the first time. very often the taste is wired. Sometimes it is delicious but ugly to look. After try several times, the taste will be just to my favorite taste and the shape will be much better than the first time. I find that I seldom can make food as beautiful as that in the movie.

I think it will be a good time when we have some snacks while we see our movie. I loving seeing the film with some snacks but I cannot have the snacks at all the time till the movie ends because I need to spent a lot of money for buying those snacks.
