I do like reading books about our history, and I have to say that I don't think think there is anything better than reading about how people used to live many years ago. It gives us an insight about how things in the modern world will have developed, and allows us to consider how things might possibly move forward in the future. We can learn a lot from the history of our country and this means that we really shouldn't be making the same mistakes over and over again, because we know what can happen when we make certain mistakes.

Hello Xjian0104 I very much enjoy reading books about history, including European and USA history. I enjoy readhing historical fiction as well. Are you more interested in non-fiction or historical fiction? Any particular time period? Any particular historical interests within this genre and time period?

thank you for your responds PageTuner. I would like to read the non-fictions. I am interested in the western history. I have read some books about Unite States,England,German, and Roman Empirea. Those books are written in Chinese. So they are eastern viewing. Now I want some books in western viewing. It is better if the author tell me both the storys and his views. do you have any suggestion?
