When I was a kid, I played worms liked they are just like other insects. But during my 5th grade, our teacher required us to submit a butterfly by observing their life cycle. from egg, caterpillar, larvae, to a butterfly.. but what happened I've got the wrong egg and the caterpillar came out bit me on my hand. from that moment on I have fears on worms, they are just small but I even fainted to touch them.

I really don't know what kind of caterpillar it was, but it has a torn on its body and the color of it is black. and I'm pretty sure it was a caterpillar.

Experience associated with pain or trauma is usually the cause for phobia. Your case is normal. Your experience have registered in your mind an unpleasant feeling caused by the bite of the caterpillar so now your brain brings this up all the time whenever you see caterpillars or caterpillar-like creatures such as worms. It would be hard to get over it but it is still possible, I think.

I do hope I can overcome this fear. But I really think I can't.

Maybe you got surprised that is why you suddenly felt some fear with worms.
I am not scared of worms, aside from those itchy ones.
What gives me scare h*ll out of me is cockroaches

not some fear with worms, but a very wide fear on them. Even just watching them made me more scared. I'm trying to overcome it, but how?
