Hello people, Do you think it's alright for a GIRL to make the first move?

I personally have never made the first move, but I don't see why they can't. I guess for most people it is a bit weird, as we have all become used to the guy who makes the first move. Some men may actually prefer the girl to make the first move, but a lot of girls are shy - or at least we pretend we are lol. Playing hard to get....

i dont see why you cant, i made the first move with my fiance and we are now getting married this year. i mean all people are diffrent but i dont see the problem as long as your not just like jumping on some random guy off the street lol

Hi Meumeu, I think that it depends on the situation, relationship and person. I think that just making moves for the sake of a quick fling and then a peace out is not usually desirable for a woman to do. Especially of they plan on a lasting relationship. Now the part with my husband, we dated on an off for two years. Not to serious, never intimate. Then one night I made the first move on him and told him I was coming over. And that was the beginning of our nearing 12 year relationship.

Hello fellow mylotter~! As a girl I've only made the first move on a few rare occasions.. The reason I try not to is due to possible rejection. But I do admire girls who are able to be brave enough to express their feelings and make the first move.

I will not accept a girl who 'makes the first move'.Because i will always be worried about her next move on 'somebody else',Such a person can't be trusted,they will be an added burden,you can't be happy with her.

Hi, I rarely make the first move. I usually wait to be approached. However, it is ok for a girl to make the first move, but if something happens to where it didn't get you where you wanted to be I would just back off and maybe try again with someone else or hope that the other person at least meets you halfway. Just my opinion is all :) good luck!
