interior design

i have been thinking my entire life about going to college for interior design but havent yet got around to it.
it is something i love to do, i remember as a child i used to pull out my little notebook and design entire houses, floor plans, decoration ect.
is interior design something that you are interested in either as a hobby or an actual career?

I also love interior design. I love playing the sims games and creating my own houses. I am not sure if I would want to do it as a career everyday. It's a lot of pressure keeping up with what others want. Designing what you want might be much easier, but when clients come into play things might be more stressful. For me I think it'd just be a hobby.

thats why i havent gone to school yet, not sure if i could take dealing with other peoples pressures on a daily basis lol :)

i like interior design as a hobby but i really only like the country look with antiques and what not. i don't think i could go and do someone's house in something they like because what i like would always shine through.
my daughter is just finished grade 9 and this is something that she has thought about doing as well but she is not sure yet.

well if she is into it i hope she goes for what she wants and does well :)
i enjoy the country look too but i think because i live and always have lived in the middle of the country out on a seasonal dirt road with no real nabors i also enjoy the more modern city look lol
