Do You Miss Your Referrer Like I Miss HardWorkingGurl?

That used to be one of the things that encouraged me to come to myLot and check all my discussions: the chance that my dear HardWorkingGurl might've been on one or two of my discussions and added a ray of sunshine with her response. It DOES make the Internet a little gloomy when she's not around, but it also reminds us of the responsibility we have to our downlines: you have to be one of your downliners' biggest fans!

I was not referred to here by anybody but I do miss some of the old-timers here. I remember hardworkinggurl. I believe she is in my friend's list. I don't remember what happened to her though, maybe you could tell me something, as I was not very active for a few weeks now.

There have been other topics asking of her whereabouts and one is in the 'similar topics' column over there-- Something is keeping her away but she did log in three weeks ago. Just before then she also posted a message at the top of her profile which says "Sorry friends I am not myself these days. I will try and participate soon". One day when we least expect her she will reappear I'm certain and until then those of us that know her are missing her one heck of a lot

I don't know. That's one of the things about myLot-friends: low accountability. Oh, she might've said in a discussion why she hasn't been here for so long (an 'I'm gonna be offline for a little while') ... or nothing at all!

Hello all I read that discussion to which you refer, mysdianait. It sounded like she is enduring some incredible hardships. I wouldn't be surprised if she simply is unable to be online. I am worried about her as things do not sound good at all for her. Peace

I was not reffered by anyone, but I miss HardWorkingGurl too. She is a very nice person and I had some good discussions with her. She taught me a lot, not only about mylot, but to change my ideas too. If you have contact with her, give my best regards to her. I really miss her here. I don't know how it is, to lose your refferer, because I don't have it, and my two refferals are not active, but I think it is not good. It is something like you lost your support point. I hope she can come back, for you and for all of us that like to share ideas with her. Happy mylotting.

Maybe it's like being a rock star with only one fan, and losing that fan ...

Hehe. Nice comparison. I've never heard something like it before, but I liked it. And probably the feeling is something like it. But I hope it don't discourage you. Happy mylotting.

I, too, was not referred by anyone, but found this place on my own. I have not referred anyone, either, because the few people I know have too many qualms against doing something like this. Oh well, it's their loss. I know I am getting paid through here and that's all that matters!

Hello mythociate I do not have a Referrer, but years ago when I was on myLot, I was referred by someone else. My brother. I rarely, if ever heard from my brother on here. He was not nearly as active as I was. Peace I love the world!!

With regards to your comment above, I am worried about her too. Some of us become very attached to others during our online travels and then when all contact is lost it is frustrating. Even more so when there ia huge pond dividing us Gosh! I hadn't realised (and indeed I went to check the top user page) that I have a higher number now than you had when you were here before. I am surprised... but then I hadn't noticed mine recently at all.

Just imagine: if he had joined in on your discussions and maybe gotten some more downliners from you, do you think he'd still be here?

I don't know. Perhaps. He works real hard on his job these days, so he really doesn't have time to be on here. He sure loved having me as a referrer as I had nearly 20,000 posts. I just joined as a favor to him, but then I enjoyed talking with people on here, so I was on a bit more. Peace

I didn't have a referrer. I stumbled across myLot through an article on... Well, I don't actually remember where I'd found the article. I've been a member of myLot for several years--sometimes active, sometimes not so much.

I missed myself here but most of all I miss those mylotters who regularly on line. I miss the exchanging of ideas and emotions here. I hope that I can write and join here everyday. Well, where is HrworkingGurl? I'm gonna miss here as well. She's an intelligent woman.

I miss HWG too, (now who dosn't if you had interacted on discussions with her for quite some time) I got encouraged by her when I was new in Mylot by making very sensible responses to some of my disscussions when I had doubts at first that anybody would be interested in what I had to say, she seemed to be all around the place when she was active, just wish she would be back

I would even send her the addresses of discussions I hadn't resolved (coz no one had answered them)!

Actually when you said that i really miss Hardworkinggirl she was a big part of mylot and she answer almost on every discussion i have started I wounder if she found the best job, that can make her a big profit for her hard work, and know she don't need to work hard for "the easy money"
