Exchange PayPal to Solid Trust Pay

Philippines
June 25, 2012 10:32pm CST
I had been able to successfully fund my STP account using a credit/debit card in the Philippines since beginning of June. But last week I had been having problems trying to fund it using the credit/debit card. I contacted support and they said that they don't enable that option anymore because of the rising fraudulent credit card cases in the Philippines. Sucks. Anyway I wanted to ask if there's anyone who can exchange funds from PayPal to STP. I have money in PayPal but I need to fund STP, 90USD.

Now a days lot of sites are available to transfer our funds from one payment processor to other. Some of them are legit, but most of them are scams. We must be very careful while transferring our funds from one provider to another one. Make a lot of search and read a lot of reviews about the site before using it. Recently one of my friend tried to transfer his payza money to paypal and used a third party exchanging site for this purpose. He got an email notification from the etransfer site stated that his money was successful transferred to his paypal account. He tried to check it, but unfortunately he don't have the ability to login to his paypal account and found that it was hacked. He is very much shocked with it and sent a message to paypal using their twitter service and waiting for the reply. He strongly suspect that the currency transfer site may hacked his paypal account. There is nothing wrong in using this kind of transfer sites, but we must read a lot of reviews and get guidance from the experienced persons to transfer our money from a payment processor to other one, otherwise we will face some unwanted issues like this. Be careful while changing your ecurrency.

Sorry to hear about that. Yes, I do recognize that there are scam exchanger sites. I have tried www.youexchanges.com and transfer was done within a day, it was very prompt. However the only downside is that I have a limit of 4USD per week for the amount transferred. That sucks. I did 2 exchanges with them though and they were processed within a day. You have to upgrade your membership if you wish to increase transfer per week from 4USD to 50USD or more.

By the way, what exchange site did he use? Can you ask him the name? At least some people here will be forewarned.

Good to hear that you exchanged your money without any issue. I don't know about the name, i will ask about it to him. We must pay extra care while dealing with money matters.

Sometimes I use STP because of its low fees. There are a few programs which only accept STP. No worries since I already found a trustworthy local exchanger here.

I hadn't gotten any reply from that website though. I tried the first suggestion above, widto.com. I chose the Quick pay option, it says transfer will be within a few minutes. The problem is it's been 24 hours and it still shows up as Pending in my widto account. Very frustrating. I am thinking of reporting the site. I have emailed them under support, I sent a few emails already but no reply yet.
