Why God created heaven and earth?

In the beggining God created heavens and the earth, Now the earth is formless and empty
darkness over surface of the deep and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. and after that God created mankind on his own image, The image of God created male and female. after a million yrs the world will be expand.

Who told you that there is heaven.. have you seen anyone from heaven recently? Its just a concept. One funny thing is.. we claim that god created humans in his own image, but don't you think we created god in our own image?? Do you think god will be proud for creating most selfless and pathetic race of living organisms in his image? We do nothing but challenge the nature and destroy all other creations in this world, which we claim are created by god himself :-) Lucky that the human civilization is just confined to earth :D

Yeah, you might be right, but the point which I am stressing on has been a topic of debate for a long long time and still unresolved. I have my own belief and that says that its we humans who created god in our image and not god who created us in his image. We made the churches, mosques, and temples and not god. God has not asked or demanded anything from humans, but still we pray to God through a system that "we created." Thinking practically, God is a concept on which we put or faith to make things happen or when we are sad or when we are expecting something bad to happen or when we need a favor which is beyond our control. It a natural mechanism of human mind to keep the faith on :-) I know it pointless if you are a believer so better not dispute on that, have a nice day :-D

God created the earth as a place test the faith of human beings and heaven were created as a place of human who passed the test of faith.
