I know the big thing now a days is being able to post and do things online from your phone. Many times they are making it a lot easier now even with the Android phones giving you more access to the Internet with Google. It even gives you more of a chance to see the discussions in different sizes, and being able to post right from your screen.
Personally since getting my Android phone last October, there is no way I could ever imagine having anything else. I was already using Gmail for my Email, and now to be able to easily use Google for Internet access makes it even so much better. It is truly the Best thing going, and I would not trade it for the world.
In time I am hoping they will make an Ap even for Android phones, and other devices so that it will be even easier to access here. I know there are some other things we would also like to see for here, but one step at a time I am sure.
So how do you access myLot, and do you find yourself being able to access it easier now from there?

Im right now using my iPhone to post this. My job allows me to be on my phone quite a bit and i am able to post more often because of it. But, honestly, i still prefer my laptop for posting. I type much faster than using a touch screen!! They need an app for mylot

It is true. It is a lot faster with my Computer responding back here that on my phone or my tablet. And yes, it would be nice to have an Ap for here.

I have an old cell phone . . . simply for calls or texting . . . so I can't access myLot from my phone! So for now, I have online access online at home on the computer. That's fine with me . . . this way I give all my attention to my little ones wherever we go . . . I'm not one of those people who are constantly looking at my phone doing this or that. So probably best that I don't get one of those smart phones for a while - otherwise I might lose focus - hee hee!

Well, it is true that some people tend to spend too much time on their phone or tablet when they are away, and stray from everything else that they really should be doing, so with kids maybe this might be your Best option for now.

nope, i have the barest of phones possible as well as the barest of contracts. i cannot do anything much from my phone which is ok. i don't need the best or the latest and greatest to keep up with everyone else. i am happy to have what i have.
as for mylot, i do it the old fashioned way (not even from a laptop! its a computer in our kitchen.)

Well, it is true that unless you have one of the newer prepaid or cell phones from a company with access to the internet, etc. it might not always be available to do this way. There is nothing with posting back from a Computer as that is how I do it a lot of the time. Just use my phone when I am bored and have some extra time.

I used to have an android phone and would access the web via it, and even come here. When I wanted to lay in bed but needed to earn I'd use my phone to earn a few pennies here and catch up with friends.
Now I don't have an android phone but I do have an android tablet. It helps me to connect to people easily, but I don't tend to use it for mylot because sometimes the keyboard on it will hang up on me and freeze.
I still prefer the old fashioned keyboard to anything else however, as I find it much easier to control.

Well, it is True that an old fashioned computer and keyboard are the easiest and usually the fastest to respond back in here with, I do tend to post a lot from my phone, especially while at work or places with no WiFi. Then I use my tablet when there is WiFi and not at home.

I do mylot from my mobile phone too. I am having a good 2G connection and it helps me to get connected fastly. It is very useful when I am on a tour or in a big journey.
I think someone should develop an app for mylot so that we can access mylot from our phone very easily .

Yes, having an Ap to use when on a phone, or tablet would be a plus as long as you have Internet access. I have been thinking the same thing for quite a while now, and really wish myLot would consider this. It would really make it a lot of easier and save many of us a lot of time.

Aside from using my laptop for mylot, I can also access mylot through my desktop. For me it is much easier and faster to used both of them because I can open many topic than using my phone.

Yes, it is true that on a desk top computer you can open many topics and windows and a little easier to follow. On my tablet I have learned how to do some with this, but not on my phone. But it is easiest to post here from a desk top, and a lot quicker, so that is usually my main way to access here as well.

Since I bought my smartphone 2 years ago I do online activities such as browsing and chatting. I went back to mylot last February and my smartphone contribute more a lot to me to access easy doing mylot. I have my email on my smartphone and I can access mylot notification directly to my phone and it is more easy for me to respond. But of course there are still some dis-advantages, it is hard to do the typing because of the small keyboards. And then I decided to bought a new Galaxy Tab another way for me to access mylot.

Yes, I do a lot of accessing this site via my Email from my phone as well when I am not on my regular computer. It sure makes it nice that there are other ways to access this site. One thing I love about my phone... It has a touch screen on it just like my tablet does. Took a while to get used to them, but now I can type almost as fast from these as I can from my Computer.

I had a cell phone for three months about two years ago. I have never texted one time or used any apps. I wonder if Mylot is having all these glitches recently because they are having trouble upgrading to equipment that will let people acess the site through their phones. I feel pretty out moded and would like to see how all this works at some point.

Well personally, it would really nice if eventually sites like this could get an Ap that you can download onto an Android phone or device, and able to access from there instead of having to go to myLot.com and do it. Maybe that is one of their goals and things they are thinking about trying to accomplish, but until then I do what I can when I can as long as I have access.

At least you would think they would be considering looking into it. Not sure what it would take, but since there are a lot of users here who have Adroid phones, etc. it would make it a whole lot easier.

If that would be easier for you I certainly hope they get with it and produce an app. I guess that is where technology is going and so many other sites have them available it should be a matter of time before Mylot does too.

Yeah, it's smaller and I would have a hard time typing so I would end up spending a lot of time just commenting in one discussion compared to what it usually takes to spend by just using laptop. But still, it's more accessible....But I should say that with my ipod touch, I can make it readable through making it large on my screen.
Still, I prefer my laptop in doing mylotting.
It's just the convenience and accessibility that I should say is the advantage of android phones.
Happy Mylotting.

Yes, it makes it nice when you know that even if you are busy doing other things no matter where you are at as long as you have your Cell phone with you and some good internet connection you can come in here and post.

Yes, it is nice to be able to post here from your phone, or Computer depending on what access you have and where. It makes it nice to have other options for sure.

That is always a Good goal to have, and something worthy of shooting for. I know I truly am glad I have a laptop, and a computer and can access myLot from these or my phone, etc. as well. Keep working towards your Goal and Good things will happen.

Im trying to post on mylot using my phone but its made me frustrated, its hard to type on cellphone maybe because I have not get used to type on my touchscreen phone so I use my phone to browse and to read email, I get notification of new discussion started by friends or comments on my email but I cannot response straight away because I still having trouble to type on my cellphone. It is not as convenient as using laptop but maybe later when I get used with the touchscreen phone I'll be more active on mylot using my cellphone.

Well, I know I have a touchscreen android phone. When I first got it, it took forever to get used to typing in something, and responding in here, but now I can do it with no problem. Most of the time I still post the most from my Computer but have this as a backup.

I post here fron my Blackberry for the time being. My laptop is gone in for repair so I've been trying it through my phone. I just find it hardier to see the little screen, but it works and will do me until my laptop is fixed. I know many who just use their phone and not their computers. I just find it drains my battery so quickly.

One thing I have recently learned is that when posting on here or other Internet things you might be doing from your phone, if there is WIFI available, use it. I have heard this is supposed to save the usage of your battery on your phone. I have not tried it yet as I usually am posting from here on my Computer if I am at home and most of the time if I am somewhere with my phone there is no WIFI around.

I have never even considered using the internet on my mobile phone. I think that the last 3 mobile phones that I have owned have had internet access and email capability, but I find the screen too small and the typing to be a nightmare. I have to buy a mobile with these facilities if I want a quality mobile nowadays, but using my mobile for such would not be practical at all for me.
If I am at home then I use my desktop computer, and while away from home I would use my laptop.

You know when I first heard of all the new features and apps of these new smart phones I was actually a little intimidated at some of the competition that these new products could use to allow the companies to sell whole new products designed to help us cover all of our new technology needs that we don't really understand yet.
I could go on and on but I think I will let you readers decide most of the important issues since you will be the targeted end users for the first good while. Let's let the users and buyers make some decisions about what work apps they really need instead of letting the designers and manufacturers make the decisions of what they really think would make the best combinations of tools and apps (More than likely to boost their own profits).
Now don't get me wrong, all this new technology is making things not only more convenient that when those profits are made. Let's think on these matters a while first. So many times a seemingly simple decision can be made and looking back if it had been different then a whole different set of circumstances (Normally more profitable to the manufacturers making the products) than to the suppnnn

Yes, that is the Truth there... When we were traveling on Amtrak just recently reception was poor most of the time so it was hard to post back on my phone. But if I have time I have been known to respond back this way from time to time.

Hello! I would also like to see an app about mylot! I understand how you feel about the Android phone, I also thought it when I got mine last summer!
Normally, I log in from my laptop but every day before I go to sleep I connect to the wifi from my phone and I respond to some discussions. It's more difficult to type from the touchscreen keyboard and my post have typos, but I find it very relaxing and I go to sleep easier after mylotting!

I do a lot of mylot activities through our laptop. But when i'm in school i used to take advantage on the wifi connectivity in the campus. I'm really happy for that because even we have classes, i can still access my mylot account and participate. :)
I also have an android phone which makes everything just perfect. However, not only android could do such, all OS right now have the same capabilities.
Next month my mother will purchase wifi router and install it here in our house and that also made me so excited because i don't have to make trouble with my brothers, i'll just grab my android phone and connect to the internet wireless.. :D

Yes, the wireless for WIFI etc. is nice. Especially if you limited on usage on your phone. Just wishing more places offered WIFI so it would be easier to keep caught up on here while I am away.
