still my discussion rating is going down :(

The only time I use it is when it has to do with abuse of animals or people in some way such as a discussion that speaks of abusing kids. And even then it hasn't worked. I rated someone negative who burned baby rats alive and it didn't affect her at all, so I wonder if it even works.

uuuumm with only 118 points to your credit, thats why. you just started you know i hope you are not one to think you will make a lot of money here. not to mention it takes time to change the rateings, star color, etc. you need to do some in depth discussionns and responses. it all takes some time and enjoyment of being here.

hi KCLGphiolsBSA no of course not. some here for whatever asinine reason love to minus just to be minusing. I think if w all would hit contact, tell mylot your rating is drop ping they might try to catch the troller. its claimed they cannot but they caught the two who trolled and the y kicked them out. I believe Lambie is stating that some ignorant people here minus others just because the person did not agree with them and that is wrong and mean. mylot admins even says do not minus someone because they did not agree with you ever.so someone is minusing you

That was sad knowing your rating is going down.Just keep going!I've experienced that several times when I'm at your stage.We can't control others whose doing that and improper usage of rating other discussion is out of our control. Just stay still your rating will be fine and stable..

It is the first time I read one of your discussions : I am innocent. In fact every member with more than (100) can rate you, even if he/she does not respond to your discussion. It is true that some members can use the rating system inappropriately, but I think it is quite normal to see your star going up and down when you are just above 100. Mine played a yo-yo game until 500... You can check your rank in your interests to find where you have been rated negatively -- i.e. what was perceived as wrong by others --. If it is in several interests, then you are possibly victim of a troll, but it is useless to report this. According to the FAQ -- http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx -- "it is impossible for one rogue user to significantly damage the myLot reputation of another user." After a while this user will also see his rating going down, so don't be discouraged.

i am also facing the same problem, now a days, but cant help it, in fact i never rated anyone negative here, nor i report abuse, i always give them positive if i like the answer, but same didnt happen with me, at first i felt so very bad, so all these days i was not participating in any discussion nor did i start any discussion, but slowly again i am trying to participate in discussions...hope for the best...
