What personality traits do you need to consider when chosing a relationship?

I know people chose to be with other people because they are smart, funny, witty, etc.., but what are some other, more detailed qualities that you consider to play an important role in deciding if you really want to be with that person? I'm just curious. :)

They must be loyal. After what I've been through, I think a partner should be faithful and loyal because no matter how witty...how funny how how good looking they are, they will always be a jerk if they are not loyal. They can make up a bunch of excuses but that of course are just excuses. It is important that they are loyal because at the end of the day, of they cheat on you, the relationship is basically over. Other than that I guess it's important that they will always be there for you no matter what because it would show that they truly care for you.

I totally agree with you! Loyalty is on the top of the list for me as well. I believe loyalty and communication are key of what to look for in finding a relationship. Thanks for commenting, Shazooo!

hi shootingstar! i am so happy and blessed to have found mr. psychoartist because he is everything that i ever wanted and needed in a man...he is funny, brilliant, handsome and the best thing is that he is very kind to other people...i love his kind sweet heart...he is very good to animals and children and old people and he has a lot of compassion for people who are hurting and in need and he goes out of is way to try to help them...i am thankful for my husband who is good and beautiful through and through.

I want a friend who is humble and non-manipulative. There are persons who just want to be your friend because of something they can get out of you, and i don't want that. Some are bossy and proud and that is the thing i hated most in a person. I also want a person who is cheerful and have a positive outlook in life, because it is a contagious trait. Being cheerful makes life's burdens lighter and easy to bear.

Very nice! There are so many out there who thrive off of manipulating others! Positive outlook is another good one. Can't move forward in life if you are surrounding by negativity. :)

I like to get along with intelligent person but down to earth, someone that can make me laugh and our sense of humor are perfectly fine when combined. Of course not to forget the most important thing is honesty and sweetness. There are a lot of traits in my list but what I mentioned are some of the primary traits I really like.

Down to earth and not fake would by my ideal too. Sense of humor is a must for me as well! I would also like the man in my life to be able to communicate with me and not just avoid confrontation. Being able to laugh together makes the bond stronger. :)

My husband is very intersting person, you cant predict his thinking if you dont know him well that the reason why I love him so much. He is funny,smart, kind and has big heart to other people. Lastly he is the only person who challenged me everyday because of her actions and thinking.
