c section

wondering if anyone has had a bad c-section. the day i came home from the hospital with my bundle of joy i fell up the stairs and busted my c-section open had to go to the emergency room and get re stitched up. than about 1 to 2 weeks later the wound started to leak and i had to wear pads were the opening was so that the liquid could come out it was really disgusting, than it finally healed up. what a not fun thing to go through. would love to hear from other people who have had a bad experience having a c-section

All I remember is the pain that I do not want to go through again in my life. It took me over 3 months to recuperate. Even today, 17 months later, I still have to bend over when I sneeze or cough. Otherwise I am in big trouble. I cannot even mention my out of shape belly.

i had 2 c-sec, but no bursting or leaking. But for the first c-sec i hardly can bend or sneeze. On the 3rd day after my c-sec i'm walking like a tortoise. It took me 30mins from getting down from my bed and walk to the washroom which is just a few steps away.
On my 2nd c-sec, with the past experienced, i feel less pain but the scar is not as nice as the first one. Now i'm apply some scar cream hoping the line will be not so visible.

with my first daughter, i had a c section and an intern stitched me up but i had about 3 inch area that didn't dissolve and thus didn't heal. it was weeping for a good three weeks until i got it fixed. on top of that, i had a really bad bladder infection due to the hospital keeping the cathater in too long. it was a really rough time!

I have had two sections. The first one was great no problems. The second one, because they cut me in exactly the same place to reduce extra scarring, had leaking issues and even got a little infected. It healed up OK, but like you said it was kind of gross given the area it is in.
