Ray Allen to the Heat makes perfect sense. Allen would like another shot at a title and the Heat need a consistent 3 point shooter who can defend and still create his own shot if he has too. In addition, he's only got two good years left and playing in tax-free Florida for a little more than the league minimum will go a long way!

Definitely agree with you there, although it might be for naught with all the veterans that are "rumored" to be interested in joining the Heat. The way I see it is that if Mike Miller retires (which is probably going to be the case because he is beat up pretty badly) Ray Allen would be a natural to replace Miller. Hopefully he has no health issues in Miami or they will essentially not have him for extended portions at a time. At the same time though Miami won't be counting on Allen to be a starter and give them 30+ minutes a game like Boston wanted him to do. He would be best giving them 15-20 minutes off the bench as a guy to bring in and stretch the floor for the Heat. He'd be another guy like Bosh or Battier that can potentially stretch the floor and open up the lane for LeBron to drive to the basket. His man cannot leave him to double on the other guys because you have to respect his jumper. It would definitely be interesting for him to find a home in South Beach with the Heatles.
