Which do you prefer? Eating toast or Cereals for breakfast?

For me i prefer Cereal because its quicker and easier. I always put butter and sugar on my toast no jelly. But i couldn't just eat toast for breakfast. And iv'e learned that cereal provides several health benefits, making it an important part of our diet. Choosing and eating whole grain is a simple way for you to get fiber, dairy and fruit to your diet. It will also help in the prevention of heart disease, diabetes, cancer,constipation and aid in weight management.

I would prefer Cereal as it is very refreshing and re-firing for day for me. I love taking toast at noon time. Cereals and its nutritional value cannot be under-estimated. But toast has lower nutritional value than cereal. The whole grain aspect of cereal makes it more acceptable. However, some people take meals especially if the taste bud signals it positive to them.

yeah I prefer cereal too as what you have mentioned it's healthier and nutritious rather than toasted breads.

I usually eat toast with scrambled eggs and served with fresh orange juice for breakfast because it easy to make and I feel very full after eating these. My husband loves cereals and oatmeal for breakfast but I cant stand the taste I dont know why,even though that I knew its very healthy and delicious.

My breakfast looks like this, coffee, oatmeal with milk and 2 bananas or epal. I'm basically following some guidelines the pro bodybuilders have for their breakfast. As oatmeal is a slow digesting carbs, it prevents me from going hungry too early. Plus oatmeal is good for the heart and digestive system. Banana or epal is because i want the carbs for energy. Coffee is because i love early morning brew of coffee and yes i need the caffeine.

Wow! You are quite health conscious. Around 10 years back, I used to take a bowl of cereals in breakfast. But from past many years I have been taking cheese vegetable sandwich with a cup of tea. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and I make sure I never skip it for any reason. I also like butter sandwich, paneer (cottage cheese) sandwich, bread roll and fritters. Also I take almonds and walnuts in breakfast.

I usually don't eat breakfast in the morning, but I like both toast and cereal at other times of the day.
Sometimes I am just in the mood for toast. I like lots of butter and grape jam or grape jelly on it.
But sometimes I like a big huge bowl of cereal! Especially with sugar in it!!

hi marialouise! i really like a lot of cereals, and also poptarts or sweet rolls for breakfast...obviously you can see i am not caring about the nutrition! i just need sugar and caffeine to kickstart me in the morning...i hardly ever eat toast and i think it is because we ate it a lot when i was a child and i feel like it is boring maybe...i do like yeast rolls with butter however....bon appetit!
