I wonder would be my life now if I would restore my old habits - like smoking, excessive drinking, stuff like that. Definitely, I would avoid that as much as possible. Good old habits that I want to be revived is going to Church, spiritual service regularly. Another is in eating vegetables and fruits daily per meal. How about you my friends, what are the OLD HABITS you want to make comeback or to those you want to put to rest? Thanks

Back in the late 80s' I worked at Hill AFB in Clearfield, Utah. At that time I was drinking a lot of water and I limited my simple carbohydrates. That was a time when my health improved. I'm doing my best to go back to that experience. I decided to create a water section in my home where I keep purified water, paper, pencils, a pencil sharpener and a measuring cup so I can record the amount of water I drink each day.

Okay, live action comic book shows like "The Incredible Hulk" and "Lois and Clark: The Adventures of Superman". Yes, they were campy, but that's what made them so fun and awesome. It was considered great television because you could picture yourself being a superhero or having those heroes in your world. Imagination. People need to imagine again and create worlds. Writing, drawing, painting, sculpting, and inventing things that people have never seen before. Go wild with it. People used to constantly invent and create things all of the time. We need more of that, and go big with it. We wouldn't have advanced so quickly as a species if we didn't create things that better humanity. Positive thinking. We are all so depressed these days, and I think that thinking more positively should be something that people do more often. We have so much negative thinking going on that it is making all of us more depressed and it is hindering us as a species. We aren't creating or doing as much as we used to. People have to believe that they can do things and that they can come up with new ideas. They have to have a more positive attitude and be more active. Musicals. There used to be so many musical movies and television shows, and I want to see shows like "Fame" come back. When I say musical movies, I mean movies based on Broadway Musicals, or original musical movies like "Singing in the Rain".

Habits formed in the past which had been detrimental to your health and bad for your finances are never to be reintroduced. Once an escape from those harmful effects have been achieved it is best to stick on yo it.

I don't have old habits which I want to return, actually. I have learned a lot over the years. I have learned how to properly react to certain things. I've learned how to manage my feelings and reactions. And I would say I am a much better person now than I am before. I'm trying to get rid of bad habits like smoking. I am going to church now and enjoying it. In fact, every Sunday is reserved for Church and any activities that include church. I learned to pray more often. I like myself better now because I'm trying to do what is right most of the time, and I'm avoiding negativity around me as much as I can. Truth be told, I really am enjoying myself these days.

Hi friend, good to hear that you are interested in avoiding your old bad habits and continuing your good habits. Previously i am interested in writing diary and going to library, now a days i don't have time for it. Surely i like to keep it up if time permits, it is the old habit i wish to follow now

Diary can be a good way to express our own feelings in writing. It's a kind of posterity to be shared to our loved ones when the time comes. That would be worth keeping on. Thanks

One thing I would like to get back is my confidence. When I was single I was more confident, now that I am married I forget about myself most of the time and my confidence level was destroyed... I'm not sure why. Another habit I want to start again is going to Church also. But I have to wait on that one until we have a vehicle. I can't think of a habit that I would like to put to rest right now but I am sure I will think of one...

Sometimes I get myself thinking about to restore some habits too, like to do some exercises, to study something different and to go out with some friends. The problem is that I always let it go and I never start anything again. I should do it. For sure there are old habits that is the best to stay in past, like to drink and other things that I don't remember now. But I like to start new habits too, for example, yesterday me and my fiancee started to look for a dance school and we will start it soon. I think it is important, to evolve, change old and bad habits for good and new habits. Happy mylotting.

I have also put my smoking habit to rest and I certainly do not wish to have it back. I need to revive some exercising habit, though. I used to be a lot more active and these days I think I sit down too much throughout the day and not enough exercise...

Old habits that i would like to restore will be to be more child like. I would like to involve more with people like i used to do in my childhood days without any inhibitions. The thing I would like to put at rest will be to get too emotional. I think it will be better to be in control of your emotions rather than get weigh down by them.

Child-like? I believe that, I like more of that than being a childish or immature person. But child-like to some of the positive things. Emotional can be good but if it destorys a relationship or even yourself, we may get rid of it. Thanks. Welcome to myLot.
