alright, over a yr ago i messed up my back pretty bad. i started having back spasms, pain ALL the time, my legs go numb and change color and i even have bouts of temporary paralyses (sp?) anyway when i went to the doctor right after it happened he told me i just pulled a muscle and put me on bed rest for a week. the pain and symptoms just kept getting worse so i found a new doctor. i went in 6 days ago and the dr sent me for x rays and put me on 2000-4000 mg of muscle relaxers. i called today to see if they got the results in and was told that the doctor hasnt even LOOKED at my x rays yet. AND they want me to pay over 57 dollars to get MY medical records! i have never had good luck with doctors here in NY state. they are all in it for the money and would rather push any health issues i have off on my panic attacks (that arent even related to most of my problems like my back). they put me on shots that screwed me up even more then refused to take me off of them because i was under 18 at the time and it "wasnt up to me". i just dont understand why all the doctors around here are so (excuse my language) STUPID, IDIOTIC, AND JUST PLAIN LAZY.

I think all the doctors in your city are so bad as you have described. So better change your doctor again and before changing, have a discussion with your friends and relatives so that they can help you for consulting with a better doctor who thinks for his patients and not for only money.

One thing I must remind you that frequent changes in doctors would do nothing good, rather, it may harm you. So select one and stick to him.

NO IDEA WHY. i will be changing doctors again i just have to find one. i did have ONE good dr, but unfortunatly he is a pediactric dr so i couldnt see him anymore after i turned 18, he always got to the bottom of things and honestly reminded me of dr. house lol

If you have any access to Ayurveda centers, try it. It is very good for back pain treatments, Do bathe in hot water or have heat pads applied on back. Apply vicks and heat the area with hot water bag. Hope his helps. My hubby also had sever back pain because he has to travel on the motorbike. The doctor advised him to avoid pillow and sleep. try it too.

And personally there are people out there that are thinking Obama's Health Care might make things better? Personally the way Health Care is going I cannot see it changing unless a Doctor helps to make it better. It is always our fault when something goes wrong, even if they can never find anything to fix it, and then our Health if it does not improve they feel at a loss for sure. You are FAR from alone with this, and Sorry you have to deal with this. I would say someone owes you an explanation and should be more on top of this.

thats all i would like, even if they cant find what it is.. atleast try. im used to them not finding out what is wrong with me, they always just blame it on my anexity, but the dont even attempt to find out what it really is

Hi there.. Man, that really sounds pretty bad. Both of your doctors' credentials need to be checked again. They need to get back to Med School & go thru the grueling 8-10 years once again. Its really pathetic!! Both of their licenses need to be revoked as well... What the heck are they doctors for??!! Is this true for NY State Doctors only or are they same all over US??!! :|
