i used to get them quite bad when it was that time of the month. i always felt that heat helped. i used either a hot water bottle or a heating pad and that seemed to help.

I used to get cramps all the time and pretty bad too. Honestly once I became sexually active that changed for me. I did get them sometimes after that but very rarely. Before I was sexually active taking naproxen in prescription form helped me as well as hot showers. I used to have cramps that were debilitating, I was in so much pain all I could do was lay down on the bathroom floor and curl up crying. They have a lot of herbs out there to help with cramps and such. Avoiding caffeine and sugar before menses is advisable to help stop cramps, and drinking lots of water as well. Sometimes even exercising regularly (not bot excessively) helps.

Unfortunately, I do. I have them every two months, but when I do, they hurt like hell. Even with a painkiller, they won't go away for hours. I usually take the painkiller to stop it.
