why does a discussion relating with facebook get more responses?

I have been in mylot for a while and my experience in posting discussions tells that whenever someone starts a discussion relation with facebook there are huge number of responses 15-20 at least but when i try to discuss about other things like movies,sports etc there is hardly 2-3 responses,,so,i was wondering what might be the reason for change in respondants no.according to change in discussion topic????

A lot of people use Facebook and can relate to whatever queston is asked about it. And some people are totally addicted to it and are on there for hours. I don't see the facination in it but I do check it daily for anything new from my family and friends.

ok,i get it now,,the subject which more people are aware of gets more responses right??but when i discuss something about subjects like movies,sports,earning online which i believe is also subjects which people are mostly aware of i dont get that much responses like i do when i discuss anything relating to facebook

Maybe people feel like they have more to congtribute about Facebook than they do about other things. Also maybe people put Facebook as an interest on here so they see those discussions easier as well.

Many know facebook which means many can relate to it. That is why facebook related post can get many responses. Actually, I did not observe that. Ahaha. Mostly, I see post which gets many number of responses are about seex and earning money sites. :) . We can all have discussions having many responses if we can all made good discussions which many can relate.

yeah i guess sseeexxx can be another topic where there are lots of responses but since the time i have been to mylot to till now i havent seen any discussions relating to s*x,,maybe you have to change prefernces or something like that to see mature discussions rite,or whether its due to my age that i am not seeing any topics relating to that,plz clarify???hehe

Well, you are right. You can find topics about mature things in a right interest. :) what I mean is that there are different categories/interest here in mylot, there are categories like s*x and had s*x and any mature interest here in mylot which you can add on your list so you can see them. :)

Well, simply put, everyone is addicted to facebook nowadays, and it's a common topic... so people talk about it naturally. Nowadays, a lot of people do not even read or watch much movies.. and it might be a much more difficult topic to engage one another.

Everybody has their opinion of Facebook. And I think everyone wants to put in their opinion on whatever subject pertaining to the sight. Facebook has alot going on pertaining to it and so there are alot of different ideas out there. I think it also depends on who all you have in your cligue.

Haha probably because facebook is so common everyone can talk about it with some degree of knowledge. Some people don't know anything about movies or sports but everyone has a facebook account or at least knows a general idea of what you do on facebook.

My take is that everyone - almost everyone is familiar with facebook, and all people do have their own opinions about the social networking site, that being they have all experienced how it was to be with the said site. :D I would say that meant of course that they sure will get responses if the discussion is with facebook. People have always something to say about a certain topic.. its like love and life in general well as of this time... facebook is really part of history. ha ha

Not necessarily, but you do have a point. It is probably because more and more people are getting hooked to or active in Facebook, so when a topic about it is made, these people can relate things about it. It just really depends on the interest of people. Some topics are interesting to most while others are just for the chosen few.

Writing or discussing about facebook is probably the easiest thing to do for most people. No wonder there are so many responses.

Hi friend, lot of people are using fb and interested with this site, so only they are participating in the topics. Always good and quality topics will get more replies
