A few years ago, I was buying the newspaper to read the daily news. I was an enjoying and quiet part of my day when I was reading the newspaper at home! But unfortunately I have stopped buying it everyday because I am trying to save money and I can find all the news online. I miss the time when I was reading the news with my coffe in the morning!

I only buy newspaper during weekends because my husband's office providing him newspaper during weekdays. After he read the newspaper he brought it here in our house so that I can read it too. Also I preferred to watch the news in the television and listen to the radio than to read it while eating breakfast. But of course I think I will more helpful for me to start to read newspaper again to improve my english grammar.

It sounds great to get free newspaper every day! When I was a student, they used to give free newspapers outside the subway between 9 and 10 am. I was lucky to live next to the subway exit so I had a ree newspaper to read every day! It was called CityPress and it had only a few pages but still, I didn't have to buy it. Now I am only a member to a local newspaper and I have it delivered to my house once a month, so I only read the daily news online.

I generally don't read up on the news- online or newspaper wise. If I do wish to read up on current events like sports, or art, I try and find a newspaper somewhere. Usually I just buy newspaper once and awhile, I don't have a monthly subscription or anything.

I do the same, sometimes I buy the newspaper if there is something that I really want to read inside, for example job positions or a special magazine that comes with it! The local news only come once a month and I am subscribed because I also have an add for my business there and it's good to know what's going on in my city.

It is always best to have the daily newspapers delivered to your doorsteps in the morning by the vendor. The subscription and additional fee you pay are not to much bothered about as the convenience it assures is much higher than expected.

Here, we have to go and buy the paper every day! It would be nice if someone was delivering it to my door! But I think that I would have a huge pack of newspapers that would need recycling at the end of the month and this is a reason why online news sites are convenient.

I don't buy the newspaper any more since I have no time to read it. I learn the news from TV and internet. This will be much more convenient. However, my mom subscribed the newspaper. She still prefers to the the old habit to read the newspaper.
I love China

Hi! Now that you mentioned your mother I remember an incident from my previous work! All the offices were next to each other and during the summer we used to keep the doors open to recycle the air. One colleague at the end of the corridor was calling his mother every day and he was reading the most important headlines in the newspaper from the phone! She has eyesight problems and she wasn't able to read them by herself! I found it very sweet of him, and also I was listening a daily update of the news because he had a loud voice and I was able to listen everything!

Nice hobby! I used to collect articles from magazines like that! It was girly stuff though, I had one collection with all the perfumes from every magazine that I was reading, and one collection where I was cutting clothes, dresses etc and I was combining them to make outfits! :)

I am not a buyer of a newspaper but I prefer reading newspapers than staring at the computer for hours. The advantage of a newspaper would be the lack of radiation coming out from the paper you are reading. No electricity bills to watch out for and very handy. Given the time and money, I would really buy some.
