105 degrees, what?

That is the projected high without the heat index. I think I am going to see if you can actually cook an egg on the road, that should be a fun experiment. I am trying to get my child outside to play before it gets unbearable, and the slides at the park are hot enough to give you 2nd degree burns. I guess I will have to replace the sprinkler that got broken, or fill up the kiddie pool. I am not looking forward to this next power bill. Sigh, guess I better get a second job to pay for it. If you are in a heat zone, how are you preparing for it?

that sounds miserable, I hate when the weather gets hot. I get sick from the heat. It is suppose to be 90 today and 94 then 96 over then weekend here, which is enough to make me want to stay inside and not go anywhere.

We were at the park about 15 minutes, and my daughter wanted to go home. This is the girl who fights tooth and nail when we have to leave on any other day. Even the 3 block walk was hard. And it is a humid 105, so it was hard to breathe.

I used to be able to handle the heat, but not anymore. Just taking the dog out to do his business in the backyard was stifling, and we were only out 5 minutes.

yup, its hot here as well and is supposed to be all weekend. sure makes me wish we had central air! tomorrow we are going to go to the beach and because it is a long weekend, we may go see the fireworks on sunday. i wish it wasn't so hot. it would be a perfect weekend to do some painting and other odd jobs around the house since its a long weekend but oh well.

We are also in a drought, so fireworks in the area may still be canceled. That would be really sad, I love watching things explode.

I normally turn on fans in the rooms to keep the air circulating. I also put water on my neck and wrist as that's where the arterial blood goes and it will cool you faster. good luck.

We have the air going, but it is not enough to accommodate the addition. We have shut off the vents to rooms that are not being used to try and force more cool air into the rooms that we do use. We do have the fans going, and I keep sipping ice water.

I feel ya. It is so hot down here in the Ms area that I cannot even believe. I was planning on checking out some fans today.

nothing seems to be keeping up with the heat. Hopefully you will have better luck.
