I went on Twitter. Had gone off of it and then decided to try it again. I put out two tweets(or like Kathy Griffin calls them-Tw.ot$)out with links to selected articles I have written and within a very few minutes those articles at atleast ten hits. Its great! Have you used it lately and does it work for you?

Yes,I use twitter daily to promote my articles, and besides tweeting my own links,I'm also a member of a few Facebook groups in which members tweet their articles reciprocally and then 'like' them on FB to allow the other members of the group to check whether they did share those links on Twitter.Anyway, this system works for me as the number of hits I receive is obviously much bigger and my earnings from article writing are also higher,so for me Twitter, along with Facebook,is an extremely useful site and I recommend it to all those who are looking for ways to increase their earnings.

Sounds really good. I was invited to join one of the Facebook sites and I was a little confused as to what I was expected to do. So we will see. I was definitely impressed.

I had used it and it didn't seem to be working very well so I quit. Now it works great. I don't know what happened in like the last 6=8 months but I am glad to see it.

I've had accounts on there but hardly ever used it. I've tried using sites to make money off of twitter, but a no go, no good for me. I guess it works for some, and would be great to post article links and such people have written.

Ya, I was really pleasantly surprised. It hadn't worked for me in the past and now it is.

I am not into Twitter at all. I don't have it and never will have it. As you can tell it is nothing I am interested in. I know alot of people who have it and like it. Some people like it better then Facebook. I have thought it to be a waste of money, too.

well, if you don't write articles, blog or have products to sell it probably wouldn't do you much good.

I think we use the ones we are comfortable with. I had tried Twitter before and I saw no improvement but the other day when I put some links on there I got feedback almost immediately. It was great!

As an author, I have my own blog to promote my book Realmwalkers (see profile) and each time I make a post, I send the post to Facebook and since I have my Twitter account linked to my Facebook account that post gets posted on Twitter. As to whether I get any extra hits for it is hard to see. I don't know if I get any hits from either FB or Twitter. Where can I find this out? Do you know? I am also very lost in Twitter. I may have to find this tutorial you mentioned and try that.

I signed up for Twitter a long time ago but it gave me issues when I tried to sign in a couple of times so I just moved on..lol. It kept saying that I had not signed up. I may have to go take a look at it though. It has become quite popular since I have tried to get on there.

I am sure glad I did. Ofcourse there isn't a reason to use it I wouldn't bother. I like to streamline my time online. Lots to do and accomplish. Can't go to just any site unless I have something to do there. Ya know?

You write articles? What kind are they? I have a twitter account but I can't for the life of me figure out how some things work w/ it. I signed up to chat with a few American Idol contestants a few years ago mainly and after they answered my tweets a few times or so I started to loose interest for some reason.

I write on health subjects, relationships, herbs, and just whatever interests me. Twitter didn't seem to work for me about six months back and I had closed my account. Now I try it again it was great. Got feedback almost immediately. I was really impressed.
